The nature of existence arising as its own nature is also produced in the same way. Regarding this, the teacher Yonten Lodrö (ཡོན་ཏན་བློ་གྲོས་), together with his disciple and spiritual friend, abandons the work of detailed explanation due to attachment and familiarity with his own school, and engages only in debate. I, on the other hand, am only dedicated to studying the meaning of the treatises, because there is not much need, and fearing many words, I am not refuting it. One with characteristics is one with nature. The saying, "arising from cessation," refers to the appearance of an image from a form in a mirror, etc., like an image arising from a face in a mirror, etc., where one sees the nature of an image similar to the face arising from the cessation of the form. This shows that it is uncertain. Alternatively, this is to refute, that the form of arising existence is not preceded by the form existing in the continuum between what it is related to and where it arises, because it is the nature of the nature of the continuum of form that is taken as its own, like the form of an image. The statement that an image is merely another difference in color is called unestablished. The teacher's idea is that in a mirror, etc., a mistaken consciousness with the aspect of an image arises solely through the power of form, and he thinks that it is not an image at all. This shows the fault of the example, that the probandum is unestablished. Therefore, there is no fault of uncertainty, and refutation is not good either. Even if it is established, it is not an example because it is not the same, that is, even if the image is established as existing in substance, it is not an example because it is not the same as the thing, and it cannot be cited as an example. How is it temporarily unestablished? To this question, the word "temporarily" means sequentially. In order to explain the reason for being temporarily unestablished. The saying, "Because one is simultaneous and non-dual," explains in detail that because the mind is present in the same place as the mirror, it is not the form of the mirror, not the image seen, and because it is present in the same place, in front, it can see the image.

It is not like the image in a mirror, where two forms, as cause, cannot exist together in the same place. Why is that? Because the arising of the support is different. Because the arising of the support of these two is different, where the arising of the support of the mirror image is suppressed, there is no opportunity for the arising of the support of the form of the image. Therefore, two forms as cause cannot arise. Therefore, since consciousness cannot exist simultaneously in this way, and two forms as cause cannot arise together, it shows that it does not exist at all. If the image appears in the same place where the mirror appears, and not elsewhere, what fault is there? It is said: In one place, two forms cannot arise together, it should be said as before. In another way, the meaning of the sutra "In one, there is no two together" is this: Since one form cannot be seen simultaneously by two viewers, the image is not established, it should be understood from the words. How is it? It is said that those who are in different directions, such as some who are in the north and some who are in the south, in the same place of the lake water, that is, on one side of the lake, the form that is in front of them, the forms on the south bank are in front of the people on the north bank, and the forms on the north bank are also in front of the people on the south bank, these people's. What? Images look at each other, the meaning of the words is that those in the north also look at the image deep in the south bank, and those in the south also look at the image deep in the north bank. But not both see at the same time, which means that the image deep in the bank opposite oneself, even those who are on that bank, surrounded by the lake water, cannot see. If so, then what? Therefore

It is said: It is not the case that two observers cannot see the same form of a vase or cloth simultaneously; they certainly can, that is the conclusion. Here, they are not seen simultaneously, therefore it is not reasonable for another form to appear there. Another explanation is that in the world, shadow and sun are never seen to appear together. Whether in a hall or elsewhere, where there is shadow, there is no sun; where there is sun without cover, there is no shadow. In a mirror in the shadow, the image of the sun can also be seen. For example, an image of the sun also appears in a lake, and if a mirror is placed in a shaded hall by the lake, another image of the sun's image in the lake will appear in the mirror. The image of the sun in the lake is also caused by the sun, so it must be undoubtedly acknowledged that it is the essence of the sun. And the other image that appears in the mirror is also caused by the image of the essence of the sun, so it must also be undoubtedly acknowledged that it is the essence of the sun. If that is the case, then shadow and sun would exist simultaneously, but in the world or elsewhere, shadow and sun have never existed simultaneously, so it is not reasonable for that image to appear there. Like well water, it means that just as water in a well appears to exist for a long time without drying up, the image of the moon also exists in this (well) and looks similar. The mirror does not have that much power. If it (the image) appears in it, then this image only appears in the mirror, and cannot be seen elsewhere, so it does not actually exist. The reason it appears that way is the power of the collection of various qualities such as form and mirror. The difference in the power of phenomena is inconceivable. For example, a magnet appears to attract iron, but not wood, etc. After the moon rises, from crystal...
