Extensive explanation: That which arises is that those dharmas such as form, which abide together with consciousness, are indeed excellent as the very nature of a field. A field appears in the world as abiding together with seeds. Consciousness does not abide together with consciousness, because they do not arise simultaneously. If that were the case, then would the past and future forms and so forth not be the abodes of consciousness? No, those past and future ones are also the abodes of past and future consciousness, just as they are in themselves. Therefore, it should be understood that the abode of consciousness is only all of one's own contaminated forms and so forth. The first section, which is the extensive explanation, what are the seven abodes of consciousness? The seven abodes of consciousness are the nature of the five aggregates, therefore consciousness is included therein, but not in the four, because consciousness is not mentioned there. The aggregates other than consciousness refers to the consciousness existing in the evil destinies and so forth, which is also not included in either the four or the seven, because consciousness is destroyed in the evil destinies and so forth, and therefore not mentioned. The four aggregates in the seven refers to those which are explained as the four aggregates other than consciousness in the seven abodes of consciousness, those are also included in the four abodes of consciousness, and therefore included in both, this is the third section. In the fourth, excluding those refers to the beings in the evil destinies, and the consciousness that exists in the fourth dhyana and the peak of existence, and the uncontaminated dharmas. Differentiated by the distinctions of going and so forth, and so forth, the word "and so forth" includes containers, intermediate existence, earth, and so forth. Womb refers to that by which the infant is wrapped and abides in the mother's womb. That which is born from that is womb-born. Born from the warmth and moisture of the elements refers to the warmth and moisture of the elements such as earth, and that which is born from the nature of dampness is born from the warmth and moisture of the elements. Not having complete faculties does not refer to the eyes.

Because there is no lack of faculties, etc. Not inferior because there are no blind and lame, etc. Having all limbs means having hands and feet, etc., and a face. Having all minor limbs means having fingers, etc., and a face. Sudden birth is not gradual like the birth from an egg, etc., or from soft things, etc. In order to make birth and appearance beautiful, it is called miraculous birth because it is born suddenly without using semen and blood, etc., as causes. The one called born from a female crane is said to be: Some shipwrecked merchants gathered on the seashore and had intercourse with a female crane, from which were born those called Abbot Rock and Near Rock. The one called King Five Hundred refers to his chief queen giving birth to five hundred eggs, which the king put in a box and sent to the Ganges River. The king of Licchavi and his queen were bathing together when they saw the box being carried away by the water. When they opened it, they saw five hundred children inside and took them away. Like 'Born from Me,' etc., are born from warmth and moisture. For example, a king serving the gods had a lump growing on his head, which gradually grew, gradually matured, and gradually burst open, giving birth to a child called 'Born from Me,' which is born from warmth and moisture. Also, a lump grew on each of the two knees of King Born from Me, and from those two lumps gradually growing, etc., came the two called Beautiful and Near Beautiful. It is said that a lump grew on the chest of King Brahma-given, and like before, it gradually grew, etc., from which a daughter was born, called Tiva Mala. It is said that Amra Guardian was also born from the trunk of a water tree. The ones called the first kalpa people are so called because it says, "Like the colored beings that appeared earlier." Leaf Good is the sky flyer. In order to prove that pretas are born from the womb, it is said in detail that they have life, in order to prove that they are born from the womb.
