Virtuous and non-virtuous minds, as well as obscured and non-obscured ones, among form and formless realms, because it is said, "other than non-virtue." The term "etcetera" includes things that arise from the mind, etc. For the virtuous mind of the desire realm, because it possesses both investigation and analysis. As it is said, "Regret and other non-virtuous mental states do not exist in the first dhyana. Investigation also, in special dhyana, above that is analysis as well." Because it is said thus. By the very certainty of the desire realm and so forth, the faculties are indicated, as it is said, "Except for the stainless, it belongs to the desire realm. The faculties of male and female and suffering, except for the form realm, belong to the formed. Happiness also, except for the formless realm, belongs to the formless." Because it is said thus. Since the characteristics of the desire, form, and formless realms are not explained, therefore it is mentioned, "Then, what are these desire, form, and formless realms?" As it is extensively said, "Hell beings, hungry ghosts, animals, etc." The so-called four destinies are hell beings, hungry ghosts, animals, and human destiny, which entirely belong to the desire realm. The destiny of gods is not entirely so. What is it then? It is shown that there are six classes of gods. Among them, beings are led here by non-merit, therefore they are hell beings. Others say that because they do not rejoice, they are hell beings. The teacher Samghabhadra says that by the meaning of not obtaining, the sound of hell refers to those who have no refuge and are without, therefore they are hell beings. Because they have gone from here without returning, they are hungry ghosts. Others say it is because they are associated with thirst. Because they go creeping, they are animals. Because mind predominates, they are humans. Worldly people say it is because they are sons of mind. These have houses and sky, therefore they are gods. The desire realm is the realm that is completely distinguished by desire, it will be explained thus. The four great kings who protect the world are: Dhrtarastra, Virupaksa, Virudhaka, and Vaisravana. Those who exist among them are the four great kings, belonging within them.

Jambudvīpa(梵文罗马拟音:Jambudvīpa,汉语字面意思:赡部洲)是以赡部树为标志的洲。

It is a word called "of". For example, the name "will be born in the heavens" is like the meaning of "will be born in the midst of the heavens." Others say that those who are in the place of the Four Great Kings are the Four Great Kings. Because the intermediate words are not manifest, it is like a bullock cart. Because those who have done good deeds and those who have done deeds together are born there, they are the Thirty-three. Others say that worldly people say that the main eight wealth gods, and the two young sons of the Tha star, the eleven wrathful ones, and the twelve suns, are only these, so they are the Thirty-three. They say that in accordance with this, the scriptures also use the same name. Because it goes with merit, it is free from strife. Or, because it can make their suffering cease, they are the free from strife. Because it goes with joy and pleasure, or because these have joy, they are the Tushita heavens. Because these are happy to transform the enjoyments they have made themselves, they are the Nirmāṇarati heavens. Because these have the power to control the enjoyments transformed by others, they are the Paranirmitavasavartin heavens. The places, etc., called the remaining words, refer to which twenty places, those are the desire realm. If, like a horse drinking water and saying "drank," the twenty places are called "twenty," then omitting the intermediate words is very reasonable. Punar Jīvana (Sanskrit, Devanagari: पुनर्जीवन, Sanskrit Romanization: punar jīvana, Chinese literal meaning: revival) is the place where dead beings are revived by the winds. Black Rope Hell is the place where black lines are drawn and then disposed of. Samghata Hell is the place where mountains like sheep come from two directions and destroy beings. Crying Hell is the place where bound beings emit very fearful cries. The special thing is the Great Crying Hell. Tāpa (Sanskrit, Devanagari: ताप, Sanskrit Romanization: tāpa, Chinese literal meaning: heat) is the place where beings are tormented by fire, etc. The place of special torment is the Extremely Hot Hell. Avīci Hell is the place where beings are surrounded by burning flames and have no opportunity to obtain happiness. Jambudvīpa (Sanskrit, Devanagari: जम्बुद्वीप, Sanskrit Romanization: Jambudvīpa, Chinese literal meaning: Jambudvīpa) is the continent marked by the Jambudvīpa tree. East Videha is the east of Mount Meru.
