It is not "Sapa." If it is said in one word like that, it is not meaningful; it is acceptable only with different words. The term "the learner himself" is one word. From "the noble path" to "the unobscured and unspecified that operates in the desire and form realms" is another word. This distinction of "when the noble path causes one to be free from desire in the desire and form realms" is not to distinguish the previously mentioned "the learner himself," because the words are different. Because "obtained from not having" has occurred, if it is said that this attainment of mind comes from not having it, then how can the attainment of the learning mind be established for a person who has the learning mind on the ninth path of liberation, and how can the learning of the fundamental dhyana, which did not exist before, be attained? Isn't that what is being said? If so, it would be too extreme, because the virtuous mind in the form realm, and the fundamental dhyana that did not exist before, would also be attained, so that would also be too extreme. The teacher Vasubandhu says that when one abides in the learning mind and is free from desire in the desire realm, the virtue in the form realm is not counted because it has already been obtained in the stage of warmth, which is the stage of definitely entering. That is not reasonable, because the learner should also not be counted. Because the learner is already obtained in the first moment of the path of seeing, you must not establish it that way. Because the teacher himself only spoke the mixed verses: "When one definitely enters the Arhat, there are learners and non-learners." Therefore, it is certain that it is also a wrong statement. "Having remainder is remainder" means that for whatever mind the attainment is not spoken of, it is said that that itself is attained. For example, for the virtuous mind operating in the desire realm, it is not said that this mind is attained, attained, attained, so for that, only that is attained, not others. For example, when right view connects the nature of the root of virtue, if the virtuous mind operating in the desire realm manifests, then, not having that

Therefore, only virtuous mind can be attained, not other afflicted minds, because all three realms have already been attained. The unobscured and unspecified mind that operates in the desire realm is also not attained, because the attainment of maturation and so on is co-emergent. The mind of emanation is without attainment. Virtuous minds and so on that operate in the form and formless realms, as well as those of learners and non-learners, are also not attained, because there is no attainment. It is also said that the unobscured and unspecified mind that operates in the desire realm can be attained, because for it, it is only attained from non-association with it, because it is said: 'Unspecified, not attained, co-emergent.' Other virtues and so on are not attained, because they have already been attained, and likewise, some are without attainment. If the mind of emanation manifests, then there is no attainment whatsoever, so that should not be spoken of. Whether it is an afflicted mind or another, whatever has no attainment whatsoever should not be spoken of. Only for the afflicted minds of the three realms, from six to two can be attained in the six, and it should be determined that it is definitely not a demon. Even if the unobscured and unspecified mind that operates in the form realm manifests, only it can be attained, not others, and it should be spoken of as before. Similarly, if the virtuous mind that operates in the formless realm, gathered by the first aspect, the approximation of the sphere of infinite space, manifests, only it is attained from non-association with it, not others, because some have already been attained. Some are without attainment. Similarly, it should also be said for the unobscured and unspecified and the non-learner. Others are without distinction, meaning not to mix them. Without distinction means because the afflicted minds of the three realms and so on have not been separated. 'There are seven virtuous minds,' this is because the definition that is spoken of is incomplete, the virtuous mind is of the three realms and unpolluted, and for this, 'there are seven virtuous minds,' it should be said that there are six, it is not like that. If asked why, it is because that reason is to be shown.
