It is because it arises between actions. This is only the efficient cause, because it is impossible for the sense bases such as the eye to be the five causes such as the co-emergent cause of eye consciousness and so on. It is possible that the mind base is the equipotential cause of mind consciousness and so on, and it is also possible that the dharma base is the co-emergent and corresponding cause and so on, so it is not necessarily determined to be only the efficient cause. Therefore, ten sense bases are mentioned, but not twelve sense bases. What is "like the vessel world is like actions"? This refers to the fact that there are also produced objects in the efficient cause, which should be understood in the context. Although it is not explicitly stated in the scriptures that the vessel world is produced by good and non-virtuous actions, it is not considered to be a vipaka fruit, because the definition of vipaka fruit is "sentient being." Therefore, this adhipati fruit is the efficient cause. It is not only present in the eye, but also in the ear and so on. Why? Because it indirectly influences the production of eye consciousness, it is not as direct as the eye. How do you know? It is said that because hearing leads to the desire to see, it is thought that eye consciousness arises for those who want to see. Similar situations should also be understood in this way, such as when holding something and wanting to see it, the desire to see also arises. "Same cause, equipotential, and pervasive" refers to the fruit. The same cause fruit is only the equipotential cause and the pervasive cause. It is certain that what arises after these two is the purushakara fruit. "Purusha is the two" means that the purushakara fruit is only the co-emergent and corresponding cause. The purusha fruit is the nature of purusha, which is a synonym for the purushakara fruit, and the nature of purusha is

It is because it is non-different from the things of the person. Because it is non-different from the things of the person, the action of the person is what the person does, and it is not other than the person, because Buddhists do not think that action is different from those who have action. Therefore, whatever fruit is done by the person is only of the person, so it is called a person. The so-called "what is the doer of any dharma" means the action of any dharma, that is, any action, that is its person's doing, which is its definition. If you ask: Because there is no inner doer person, the so-called person is only dharma, so it will become called dharma doer, and it will not become called person doer, right? Therefore, it is said that "like the doer of the person is the person doer", just like the person's person doer recognized in the world, the doer of the dharma is also the same, so like the doer of the person, it is the person doer. In order to illustrate, it is said "medicine crow's foot" etc., just like the foot of the medicine crow, called crow's foot, and someone is regarded as a drunken elephant or a warrior, it is called a drunken elephant. The so-called "what else is also" refers to the cause. The so-called "besides the ripening cause, there are others" refers to causes such as equal share, pervasive action, and efficient cause. Why? Therefore, it is said that "thus, the fruit done by the person is produced simultaneously or immediately", which means that the fruit similar to the cause produced simultaneously is called produced simultaneously, and that is only the fruit done by the person, and there is no other fruit produced simultaneously. For the causes of equal share and pervasive action, only the immediately produced is the fruit done by the person. The efficient cause is both. Also asked: Is the fruit done by the person different from the fruit of equal flow and the fruit of effort? The answer is: No, that fruit itself gets that name. Thus, because it arises similarly to the cause

It is also the fruit of the similar cause. Because it arises from its power, it is also the fruit of the agent's action. Because it arises by abiding in things that do not hinder, it is also the fruit of the lord. What is meant by "Vipāka is not like that"? It should be understood in the context of co-arising or immediately arising. The meaning of "Vipāka is an indeterminate dharma" is that what arises in abundance is purely indeterminate and purely sentient beings, and purely arising from determinate dharmas. This must be understood. What is meant by indeterminate is that it is intended to express that it is un-obscured and indeterminate. Whatever is referred to by the word sentient being is what is referred to as sentient being, that is, arising from the continuum of sentient beings, which is a synonym. What arises later from the indeterminate is the determinate later arising. What arises from increase and the similar cause are not arising from the determinate. Even the great elements of the senses that arise in abundance from entering into absorption in the distinctions of meditation, that also arises from the determinate, so it becomes Vipāka. Then, is the emanation mind also arising from the samādhi mind, so it will become exactly the same as that? Answer: There is no fault in that. Because in "determinate later arising," the word "later" refers to the later time, so Vipāka refers to what arises only later from the determinate virtuous and non-virtuous dharmas, not simultaneously, nor immediately. The increase arising from samādhi arises both simultaneously with samādhi and immediately. And the emanation mind arises only immediately. Vipāka is considered to be of the same ground, and these two are also of different grounds, so there is no fault of becoming Vipāka. The meaning of "similar cause is similar to the cause" is that it is in terms of similarity with virtuous, afflicted, and un-obscured and indeterminate.
