Indeed, here also, it is not a single moment of adding up all the afflictions of the previous life and this life. Therefore, in order to fully establish and show the intention, the term "these two afflictions" is elaborated, that is, the two afflictions of the previous life and this life, in order to generate the cause of the present and to generate the future in this, the entity of the seed, that is, the power of the characteristic of habituation, is placed. By abandoning the entity of the seed, these two afflictions are also abandoned. For example, it is like the exhaustion of the ripened fruit, approaching the exhaustion of karma by applying the ripened fruit, which is similar to the near addition. Then, how is abandoning the future arranged? If what is abandoned, it will be abandoned, because there is no placement of the entity of the seed in the continuum. Therefore, it is stated that "future suffering or affliction is abandoned because it has no seed, so it will never arise," and the absence of seed is also changed by the power of individual examination. For the past that has ceased and the present that has ceased, focusing on the manifest part is effort, and the effort to generate the antidote is meaningful, that is, it will not become an unnecessary concluding remark. The most excellent of these is detachment from desire, and detachment from desire is the exhaustion of desire, which is the concluding remark of cessation through individual examination. How should the excellence of non-existent things be non-existent? That is, how should the excellence of unconditioned non-existent things such as space be the unconditioned non-existent detachment from desire? In order to answer this question, it is elaborated that "some non-existent things also exist." The second refers to seeing with one's own wisdom under the second truth of the origin, and showing it by means of showing it to others, supplementing it to three is the third. What will become? "What will become?" is the concluding remark of "What will the fault become?". "What will become?" means "What will the merit become?". Asking about all the merits of "What will become?", it is stated that "it will protect the sect of the exponents of distinctions." What will become?

When saying "What fault will this become?", it is said that what is said will be considered untrue. This is a synonym for "will become a fault." Like form and feeling, etc., this is from the aspect of manifestation. Like the eye, etc., this is from the aspect of action. This is a synonym from the aspect of inference. This has been explained many times. Things refer to things like desire. Because it is impossible to have things like cause and effect, the word "etc." includes the relationship between self and self, parts and wholes, etc. The cessation of things does not refer to cause and effect, parts and wholes, etc. Then, what is the cause that is certain to obtain it? In detail, this is only the attainment of cessation, not others. What is the cause that is certain to obtain cessation, that is, what is the cause of certain attainment? Cessation has no connection with attainment, because it is impossible to have relationships such as cause and effect. Obtaining Nirvana in this life means abiding in Nirvana with remainder, which is a synonym. If this thing does not exist, how can it be obtained? By obtaining the antidote, in detail, by obtaining the Noble Path, because one obtains a basis that is completely contrary to afflictions and rebirth in samsara, it is said to be obtaining Nirvana. "Just the absence of things," the word "just" is to exclude that it is another entity. Saying like this, "This suffering," in detail, from "abandoning" to "no arising," these are all terms of names. This "no arising" is explained as an example for clarity, meaning that because it will not arise here, it is said to be no arising, which is to show the establishment of the basis, not because it does not arise, so it is no arising, this is a synonym for establishing the nature. Only through what can it be obtained?

That which is called "attention to the ground" means to contemplate: By what path can abandonment be attained? Does that path exist? If it can be attained, then one should desire that suffering does not arise. Otherwise, what is the use of contemplating nirvana? That which is called "liberation of his mind" refers to the time of the Bhagavan's nirvana without remainder of aggregates. A thing as it is, is an object as it is. A thing that possesses, is that which will be associated with afflictions. That which is called "dharmas associated with things" refers to those associated with causes. That which is called "object to be apprehended" is so called because it is to be apprehended. That which is called "for the sake of the final demonstration" means that from the end of the verse arises the cause of vipaka, and its fruit is only vipaka. The agent cause is the first because it arises from the beginning of the verse, and its fruit is self-born. Self is the lord. That which is born from it is self-born, which is another name for the fruit of the lord. Some recite it as "the fruit of the lord is the first," because this fruit belongs to the lord, it is of the lord. If so, then it will become "the agent." However, if the specifically designated object is also generally connected, then it will also become such a nature. That which is called "that itself is the agent" refers to whatever abides merely as a non-obscuring thing. That which is called "there is also a thing that arises" refers to the principal thing, which is another name for the thing that causes to arise. Therefore, this shows that the agent cause has the fruit of the lord for both the agent and the one who abandons. Except for the unconditioned, like this: The conditioned that is not pre-existent, is only the lord's fruit of the conditioned. That which is called "twelve ayatanas" refers to the space from the ayatana of eye and form, to the ayatana of body and touch. That is, relying on eye and form, eye consciousness arises, and so on, relying on body and touch, body consciousness arises.
