are things like lust that engage in sexual activity. Those are also pervasive causes, with causes such as the view of the perishable aggregate. Here, the example is this. Because non-virtuous things, etc., appear without special distinction, what is to be abandoned by seeing and what is to be abandoned by meditation will appear. This is the second source here. What is the afflicted truth of suffering other than those, that is the third source. The afflicted truth of suffering other than those, because it is not differentiated, includes what is to be abandoned by seeing and what is to be abandoned by meditation. Like ordinary beings, what is to be abandoned by meditation by the noble ones is also a cause of the pervasive view of the perishable aggregate, but it is not a cause of the view of the perishable aggregate. That has already been said. So, the imputed explanation is that if it is a non-virtuous thing, it is also a cause that is not explicitly stated, but it is not merely a cause of non-virtuous things, then there is an imputed explanation. How can we explain what is the first afflicted mind that arises after a noble person is liberated from desire and completely degenerates from it? The meaning of the imputed explanation is that what is completely degenerated from being liberated from desire is the mind of the noble person, which is the same as the co-emergent cause and the corresponding cause, and is only the cause of non-virtuous things, not the cause that is not explicitly stated, because the view of the perishable aggregate and the view of clinging to extremes have been abandoned. With this thought, they argue. The Vaibhashikas say that this was said considering that the cause had not been abandoned. This imputed explanation is said from the perspective of the co-emergent cause and the corresponding cause. Because the cause of that mind, the view of the perishable aggregate, etc., which is to be abandoned by seeing, has already been abandoned by the path of seeing, it was not said from the imputed explanation. Non-virtuous things, etc., and virtuous dharmas with outflows, etc., non-virtuous things, etc., are only with outflows, so there is no special distinction.

There are two kinds of virtue: those with outflows and those without outflows. Therefore, those virtues with outflows are the cause of maturation, while those without outflows are not. This is a distinction. The reason for saying "having the nature of maturation" is because it is the nature of maturation. The detailed explanation of "weak power, like rotten seeds" is: just as rotten seeds, because of their weak power, even if they appear moist, will not become the cause of sprout growth. Similarly, the undiscovered dharmas, even if moistened by desire, will not become the cause of maturation, because their power is weak. Although the outflowless ones have power, they do not cause maturation because they are not moistened by desire. For example, dry seeds that are not moistened by water do not cause sprouts to grow, and it is similar to this. The former does not have its own power. The latter does not have another cause that acts together. What is meant by "associated with what" is associated with which realm. Not associated, that is, not associated with the desire realm, etc. With what associated maturation will the outflowless ones manifest and accomplish? Maturation is associated, but not unassociated, because it is the nature of the dharma associated with the desire realm, etc. The detailed explanation of "the remaining ones" is: the remaining non-virtuous dharmas and virtuous dharmas with outflows are both kinds, because they are both kinds, that is, having the form of power and manifestation of moisture. These accomplish maturation, for example, dry seeds that are moistened manifest and accomplish sprouts. The detailed explanation of "a cause of maturation" is: if the word "maturation" is explained as "because of maturation, it is maturation," then "cause of maturation" is a combination of the sixth case. However, if it is explained as "one will mature oneself," then

Because the fully ripened itself is the cause, it is called the cause of the fully ripened, which is the basis of karma. So what will it become? That is to say, what fault will it become like that? If the "cause of the fully ripened" is taken to establish the essence, then "the eye is born from the fully ripened" will not be established, because the eye is not born from the fully ripened. So what is it? "The cause of the fully ripened" comes from the word karma, and the fully ripened is not the cause. However, if "the fully ripened itself is the cause" is taken as an action, then karma will also become fully ripened, because it is fully ripened, so the statement "the eye is born from the fully ripened" can be established. However, it cannot be said to be "the fully ripened of karma", because the fully ripened only refers to karma, not the fully ripened itself. And "the fully ripened of karma" here refers to the meaning of establishing the essence, not the action. Therefore, it cannot be said to be "the fully ripened of karma". It has been said before that both cases are possible. It has already been said there: "Born from the fully ripened, and the five inner roots born from growth." There it says that what is born from the cause of the fully ripened is born from the fully ripened, because the middle word is not manifested, like "ox cart", this refers to establishing the essence. Or, the karma that has reached the fruit stage is called fully ripened, because it will become fully ripened. What is born from that is those born from the fully ripened, this refers to understanding it as an action. The fruit is the fully ripened itself, so it is called fully ripened, if you want to say that the fruit is the fully ripened, then completely understand it as establishing the essence, this is its meaning. Therefore, in the sentence "the eye is born from the fully ripened", the middle word is also not manifested, and it can be established from the perspective of establishing the essence, and "the fully ripened of karma" can also be established from the perspective of explaining the establishment of the essence, because what the sound expresses is what you want to express first
