Similarly, those born in the formless realm, born near the realm of neither perception nor non-perception, do not arise because of its tranquility. On the other hand, it would fall into Nirvana without the residue of aggregates, because there is no form there. If the mind and mental factors also cease, then because there is no power for only those without mind to exist, this would completely become Nirvana. Since the fruits of karma that are certain to be experienced exist entirely as the nature of obstacles, complete Nirvana is impossible. The Samadhi of Non-Perception is that, with the intention that the thought of liberation will surely arise as the leader, one will first enter Samadhi in the realm of form. Why elaborate on these? Because both of these Samadhis are the nature of the cessation of all mind and mental factors, so it seems that one should say the cessation of mind and mental factors. Because they are not in harmony with them, it is to combine Samadhi with them, that is, because they are not in harmony with thought and feeling, it is to combine Samadhi with them. Because it is not in harmony with thought, it is to combine with the Samadhi of Non-Perception, thought is an arrow, thought is a disease, thought is a sore, this is tranquility, this is excellent, thus it is widely said. Because it is not in harmony with thought and feeling, it is to combine with the Samadhi of Cessation. Like "knowing the minds of others," that is, for example, the saying "knowing the minds of others," although it is not that one never knows mental factors by knowing the minds of others, but because one must first practice knowing the minds of others, therefore one says "knowing the minds of others," and does not say knowing the mind and mental factors, similarly, here too, one should say this to these two Samadhis. Among them, the Vaibhashikas and others say that the Samadhi of Cessation and the Samadhi of Non-Perception, as well as the non-perceivers, are merely mindless ones. Stay.

Sthavira Vasumitra and others say that only the consciousness of mind, which is completely unclear, is with mind. The Yogacharas say that the Alaya-vijñāna is with mind. Because the tenets are different, therefore, how does the so-called "expansion" arise from the mind that has been stopped for a long time? This will be elaborated. Saying "stopped for a long time" is to exclude the case of just stopping. The Vaibhashikas say, what is that just stopped, etc.? If it is admitted that there is just stopped, then how can it be admitted that there is stopped for a long time? They say so. They do not say that there is just stopped. However, like the height of the balance, the present mind stops after determining its own mind and other causal objects, and others arise. Therefore, when one mind stops, another mind will arise, so from the just stopped mind, another mind will arise. The present and near present are also because they are similar to the present. Others say that "is" refers to the Sutrantikas, that is, those who are temporarily born in formless bodies. In the "expansion", the word "temporary" means gradually. Temporarily, the meaning of this example is only to illustrate the word. If it is not desired that form has an immediate cause, then how does it arise? They say that it arises from that mind itself, not from form. These two are mutually seeded, that is, the mind also has the seed of the body with senses, and the body with senses also has the seed of mind. From "Sarva-pucchā", it refers to the treatise Sarva-pucchā written by Sthavira Vasumitra. It is explained from there. Because his treatises also have four or five parts, etc., it is necessary to distinguish them in particular. That will become a fault, what is that fault? It is the sentence that is now said, "How from the mind that has been stopped for a long time." The gathering of the three refers to the senses, objects, and consciousness.
