Then, it will arise from the roots of virtue. It is said that the meaning of thought is the meaning of the roots of virtue. As it is said, the roots of virtue of the Bodhisattvas, once manifested, will not regress until they attain the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment in a single instant, that is what is said. Those who hold to permanence believe that thoughts do not regress, but it is not as you say. The previously mentioned "is the only one" refers to the aspect that is simultaneous with the inexhaustible wisdom. Although there are many kinds of differences between the two, one exists in the final meditation, and the other is born from the peak of existence. One enters into samadhi through the thought of renunciation, and the other because of the desire to abide, and so on, there are many kinds of differences. The similarity between these two is: both rely on desire and form. The extensive explanation of "is the realm of form," etc., refers to whether all realms that are the realm of form are also the realm of the five pervasive aggregates. This is a fourfold statement. There are those that are the realm of form but not the realm of the five pervasive aggregates, such as: sentient beings who practice in the realm of form, gods with thought, beings who dwell in different consciousnesses, and those who are in the samadhi of non-thought and cessation, as well as the fruits obtained by the gods of non-thought, etc. There are those that are the realm of the five pervasive aggregates but not the realm of form, such as: sentient beings who practice in the realm of desire, who dwell in the same consciousness. There are those that are the realm of form and also the realm of the five pervasive aggregates, such as: gods with thought who practice in the realm of form, beings who dwell in the same consciousness, and the realm of beings in the realm of non-thought who have not yet obtained the fruit of non-thought. There are those that are neither the realm of form nor the realm of the five pervasive aggregates, such as: in the realm of desire

For sentient beings abiding in different states of mind, and for those who have entered into the Samadhi of Non-Perception and the Samadhi of Cessation, their state of existence is similar to the state of existence in the Formless Realm. The example given here is the first aspect. The existence in the Form Realm is the aggregate that operates within form. The five delusive things are synonyms for the five aggregates. The so-called "delusion" is the name of the Tathagata Light Protector's own aggregate. Especially because of delusion, it is "delusion"; because it changes, it is a synonym for "deception." Because it exists here, it is delusive. It is a synonym for "deception," such as "Form is like a mass of foam, feeling is like a bubble in water," and so on, because it deceives. If you do not believe that the Samadhi of Non-Perception exists in the Form Realm, then it would not be said that those who have entered into the Samadhi of Non-Perception and the Samadhi of Cessation, and so on. Therefore, it should be known that the Samadhi of Non-Perception operates within the Form Realm. There is also a difference in that the so-called "there is also a difference" refers to the fact that there is also a difference in the same Dharma nature. Later, "even in the Form Realm," refers to those noble ones who have cultivated the Samadhi of Cessation and attained liberation from it. Due to past habits, they will again generate the Samadhi of Cessation in the Form Realm. The Samadhi of Non-Perception is generated by ordinary beings in the Form Realm from the beginning, and this is the difference. "Can one also fall away from this?" This is because this samadhi is thought to be similar to Nirvana, so the question is asked out of disbelief that one could fall away from it. "The Sutra of Manifestation," this sutra was spoken by the noble Shariputra. Because "manifestation" refutes the opponent, it is called the Sutra of Manifestation. How to understand it? The beginning is Shravasti.

Then the venerable Śāriputra said to the monks: "Venerable ones, here a monk is perfect in morality, perfect in concentration, perfect in wisdom, and he truly knows as it is that there is a state of absorption in cessation of perception and feeling. He does not obtain the Dharma of omniscience at the very beginning in this very life, nor at the time of death, nor after the body is destroyed, having transcended the gods who eat coarse food, will he be born into any mind-made divine body. Having been born there, he truly knows as it is that there is a state of absorption and arising from the cessation of perception and feeling. Then, at that time, the venerable Prabhākara also gathered in that assembly and sat down. Then the venerable Prabhākara said to the venerable Śāriputra: "Venerable Śāriputra, it is not possible or reasonable that a monk who is born into any mind-made divine body should truly know as it is that there is a state of absorption and arising from the cessation of perception and feeling." The venerable Prabhākara said to the venerable Śāriputra two or three times: "Venerable one, this is not possible," as before. Then the venerable Śāriputra thought to himself: "This monk rejects my words three times, therefore he is angry, and no one who practices the same Brahmacarya rejoices in my words. Should I not go to where the Blessed One is?" Then the venerable Śāriputra went to where the Blessed One was, and having gone there, he bowed his head at the feet of the Blessed One and sat down on one side. Having sat down on one side, the venerable Śāriputra said to the monks: "Venerable ones, here a monk is endowed with morality," as before.
