In this aspect, it is not permissible. If so, it is as if the Vaisheshikas have clarified, thinking that it is named "having ignited and established the tenets." They also speak of common entities, and so do you. Although it is one, like the thread of a flower garland, or like threading a thread around the neck of a ghost, this entering into the many is the characteristic of those Vaisheshikas. Because they speak of common substances, it is okay if they clarify. Because they specifically speak of the differences between one and many, permanence and impermanence, etc., it is okay even if they do not clarify. The Vaisheshikas consider that there is a future world, and this is not unestablished. If it is said that a hundred people share a common fate with people, it will appear in detail like this: because of universally relying on, being accustomed to, and frequently taking killing, they will be born in hells. If it is said that a hundred people share a common fate with people, even if it exists like this, they will have short lives because of killing, this is said in detail. Such an aspect is like this. Its nature is just like this. The teacher Samantabhadra says that the reason for relying on the same body, senses, shape, behavior, food, etc., and the reason for mutual joy is the same fate. We also say that, but the same fate is not another substance, only those formations will become the nature of such a cause, and this alone clarifies it. "In the absence of perception, there is no perception. Mind and mental events cease." It appears in detail that this belongs to those without perception. Because it exists in those without perception or in the absence of perception, it is without perception. Mind and mental events will cease by this, or because they cease mind and mental events, it is cessation. With which the mind and mental events that exist in the future time are temporarily stopped between other times, and do not give rise to production, this is the meaning of the word, that is the substance called the unconscious. The wind stops the water.

It is like where it is. The term "as it is" is synonymous with "stopping." The term "like a special samadhi" means that, like some great Brahma residing on one side of certain special samadhis, those gods are called Brahma's precursors, similarly, the unconscious beings also reside on one side of what is called "great fruit," and there is no other place for them. The term "changing at the time of birth and death" should be connected with "conscious." Because it has the self-connection of the afflicted mind, it is certain to say "death, birth are in equanimity." The term "because the previous samadhi action is completely exhausted" means that because the nature of the previous samadhi action, the cause of the Vipaka is completely exhausted, it is said that its fruit is completely perfected. Others say that it is because the attraction of the previous samadhi action is completely exhausted. The term "because there is no accumulation of what was not before" means that it is thought that it is because it is not accumulated from the unconscious. The term "like an arrow shot out, its strength exhausted, falling on the ground" should be connected with "will be born" in the context. The previous word means to produce, but in terms of meaning, it will become the meaning of going, which is synonymous with "going." Others say that this is the remaining word of "going." The samadhi of unconscious beings, or the samadhi is unconscious, so it is the unconscious samadhi. The word "as it is" only guides the similarity, because it does not want the difference in the meaning of Vipaka, etc., unconsciousness is only non-distinction, and this samadhi is only good, it will be explained in this way. The term "Vipaka is the five aggregates" is because at the time of death and birth, the mind and mental factors are all Vipaka. Because of this, even if the acquisition is completely lost, it will surely produce unconsciousness again.

Since it arises among sentient beings, obtaining it does not fall into the category of certainty. Only through entering the state of certainty can noble ones individually attain cessation through analysis, thereby preventing falling into evil destinies, the realm of non-perception, the Great Brahma realm, places where sounds are unpleasant, and the eight states of existence, etc. The phrase "seeing it as a place of downfall" is synonymous with "seeing it as a place of evil destiny." Others say it is like a precipice or other place of downfall. Ordinary beings who have the notion of definite emergence abide in it, which is synonymous with having the notion of liberation. Noble ones do not have such inverted notions. "Obtained like meditation" means that after yogis attain the fourth dhyana (meditative absorption), they will separately obtain the past and future fourth dhyanas that were previously obtained from beginningless samsara. Therefore, someone might ask whether the past and future are also obtained in the same way. "For the time being, others cannot obtain it either" means that for the time being, even ordinary beings who consider this samadhi (state of meditative absorption) as their own cannot obtain the past. So, what need is there to mention noble ones who do not consider it as their own? "Even though this is familiar" means even though it was previously obtained in beginningless samsara. "Because it must be accomplished with great manifestation and because it is mindless" is synonymous with "because it must be accomplished with great effort." "Obtain simultaneously" is synonymous with "will be obtained simultaneously." "Like the Pratimoksha vows" means that in all eight cases, whenever it is correctly received, it is obtained at that time, and obtaining it is like arising at that very moment. From the second moment onwards, as long as that samadhi is not abandoned, one remains in the state of having obtained that samadhi. Abandoning it occurs through complete degeneration or transference. It is mindless.
