If, when one knows the object completely, then one does not abandon it; when one abandons it, then one does not know the object completely, then how does one abandon those? Knowing the object completely does not effortlessly exhaust the afflictions. Then what is it like? It is said to be four ways. Which four ways? Briefly, those to be abandoned by the path of seeing are: knowing the object completely, and truly, in that object, exhaustion and abandoning the object. Among them, knowing the object completely is that those to be abandoned by seeing the truths of suffering and origin, those that are objectified in their own realm, and those to be abandoned by seeing the truths of cessation and path, those that are objectified in the unpolluted, will be exhausted. Truly exhausting in that object is that all that goes along in the unequal realm will be exhausted, because in that object is all that goes along in the unequal realm. If those are abandoned, then those will also be abandoned. Abandoning the object is that those to be abandoned by seeing the truths of cessation and path, those that are objectified in the polluted, will be exhausted, because those that are objectified in the unpolluted are the objects of those, therefore if those are abandoned, then those will also be abandoned. Those to be abandoned by the path of meditation are: they will be exhausted after the antidote arises. Whatever affliction's antidote is what, from what it arises, then one uses it to abandon it. What is the antidote? The great of the great is called the small of the small, the details will be explained below. How many kinds of antidotes are there? It is said: There are four kinds of antidotes, abandoning and, ground and remoteness and, refutation. The antidote of abandoning is the uninterrupted path. The antidote of the ground is what is the path above that, which is the one who fully holds the fruit obtained by it. The antidote of remoteness is what is the path above the path of liberation, because it makes the cessation of attainment remote. The antidote of refutation is the path by which one sees the fault in that realm and refutes it. After abandoning the afflictions, from what should one abandon them? From the object. Afflictions are considered to be abandoned. Corresponding co-existence is not able to distinguish afflictions, but
