Everything exists. The gods born in the desire and form realms have (discipline) arising from meditation. The discipline of meditation is only for the gods born in the desire and form realms; those below do not have it. As for the uncontaminated, it is: Special meditation and no perception. Even in the formless realm, except for sentient beings, The uncontaminated discipline exists for those born in special meditation and in the realm of non-perception, as well as for those born in the desire and form realms, and also for those born in the formless realm. They have it through association, but not manifestly. Because it is taught from the perspective of karma, from here onwards, the karmas taught in the sutras will be explained. Karma is of three types: virtuous karma, non-virtuous karma, and unspecified karma. Happiness and unhappiness, from other karmas, Virtue and non-virtue are different in nature. This is the nature of virtue and so on. Happy karma is virtue, because it greatly saves from suffering at that time, and it is what causes the attainment of desirable results and liberation from sorrow. Because it is the opposite side, unhappiness is non-virtue, whose result is undesirable. Karma other than those two, which is neither happy nor unhappy, should be understood as other than virtue and non-virtue, which is the synonym called unspecified. Also, Merit, non-merit, unwavering. Three karmas lead to experiencing happiness. Karma is of three types: merit, non-merit, and unwavering. Again, there are three types: karma that leads to experiencing happiness, karma that leads to experiencing suffering, and karma that leads to experiencing neither happiness nor suffering. Among them, The virtuous karma of the desire realm is merit. What is born in the higher realms is unwavering. When combined with virtue, the virtuous karma practiced in the form and formless realms is unwavering. Why is it called unwavering? Because the ground is in those realms, Karma ripens, therefore it is unwavering. The virtuous karma practiced in the desire realm is wavering because of ripening. How is it wavering? Because it is uncertain, sentient beings

Among them, it will ripen; other divine realms will also ripen in other divine realms. The karma performed in the form and formless realms can never ripen in other different places. Therefore, ripening is certain, hence it is called immovable. Non-meritorious actions are known as unwholesome in the world. What is the use of striving for what is known in the world? It should be explained by experiencing happiness, etc., and it is said thus: The virtue between the three dhyanas will experience happiness. The space between the three dhyanas is the place where happiness will be experienced, such as the desire realm and the third dhyana. Beyond that, suffering and happiness are not experienced. Connected to virtue, the virtuous karma above the third dhyana will experience neither happiness nor suffering, because there is no feeling of happiness or suffering. Suffering will be experienced by these people. Unwholesome actions will experience suffering. Saying "these" is to show that it exists only in the desire realm. The result of these is not only feeling, but also the five aggregates and their retinue. If someone says, then is there also an intermediate? Some say that besides experiencing neither happiness nor suffering, there is also intermediate karma, even below the fourth dhyana. Why? Because, if it were not so, the ripening of the karma of special dhyana would also not exist, and no karma would ripen into special dhyana, because there is no happiness or suffering there. Without before or after, the three ripen, for this purpose. Like this, does the ripening of these three karmas ripen without before or after? The answer is yes, what will experience happiness is form. What will experience suffering is mind and mental factors. What will experience neither happiness nor suffering is formations that are not associated with mind.

Because it is said, "feeling." The latter also has the karma of experiencing neither pleasure nor pain. Other than the desire realm, there is no connection of the three karmas ripening simultaneously. If karma is not the nature of feeling, how can it be said to experience pleasure? Answer: There is no fault because it is said with consideration for experiencing ripening. Furthermore, nature and association, object and ripening, manifest, there are five types of experience. Among them, those who experience by nature are all feelings. Those who experience by association are touch, that is, the consciousness that experiences pleasure. Those who experience by object are all objects, such as saying: When the eye sees all forms, then it truly experiences each form, but not from form does it truly experience each desire, etc. Feeling can truly distinguish each object. The karma of experiencing ripening is widely spread, such as saying the karma of experiencing in seeing the Dharma, etc. Those who experience manifestly are like saying: When experiencing the feeling of pleasure, two feelings cease, and where the feeling of pleasure enters, there is no other feeling that experiences it, but it is said to experience it in its manifest function. Therefore, because it is experiencing ripening, it is also said that karma is experiencing pleasure, etc. That is also definite and indefinite. The three types of karma of experiencing pleasure, etc., should also be known as definite and indefinite, not necessarily experienced. In seeing the Dharma, etc., because of experiencing, there are definitely three types. Experiencing the Dharma in seeing the Dharma, and experiencing after birth, and experiencing in other times, these three karmas are definite. Thus, they are combined with indefinite experience, and become four types. Some say there are five types of karma. Others then experience
