Oh. Those also have four types, namely wheel treasures of gold, silver, copper, and iron. They possess wheel treasures of gold, silver, copper, and iron. Among them, the first is the best, the second is near the best, the third is medium, and the fourth is the worst. Those correspond respectively to ruling one continent, two continents, three continents, and four continents. This is how it is explained in the scriptures. In the Sutra Pitaka, because it mainly speaks of the golden wheel treasure, it only mentions the golden wheel. The appearance of such a Chakravartin is like the Buddha. Just as the Tathagatas are, so are the Chakravartins, as it appears in the words of the Sutra Pitaka. Furthermore, when those Chakravartin kings conquer lands with wheel treasures of gold and so on, how do they conquer? In order, they are welcomed, they go themselves, they arrange battlefields, and they manufacture weapons. Whoever possesses the golden wheel treasure, the minor kings of that region come to welcome them, saying, 'These are the subjects of the gods,' just as it is said in the Sutra Pitaka, and it should be understood accordingly. Whoever is to be subdued, they personally go to those places, and later they will submit. Whoever possesses the copper, they go to those places and arrange battlefields, and later they will be victorious. Whoever possesses the iron, they go to them, and they manufacture weapons against each other, and later they will make them submit. All Chakravartins are without harm. No weapons can cause harm. Is that the only unique characteristic of a Chakravartin king? There are others as well. They possess the thirty-two major marks of a great being, like the Buddha. Regarding this, the Buddha's marks are supreme, abiding in place, clear, and complete. The Buddha's marks abide in place, clear, and perfectly complete; these are the differences. Furthermore, did the people of the first kalpa also appear with kings? The answer is no. Like sentient beings with form, they initially appeared like sentient beings walking in the realm of form. Then gradually they enjoyed, became attached, and lazy.

Activities accumulated outwards, and those with attachments revered the field lords. To those who appeared in this way, the taste of the earth became like the taste of honey. Any sentient being with a greedy nature smelled the fragrance, tasted the flavor, and ate it. Then, other sentient beings would do the same, and that was the beginning of lump-food. Because they were accustomed to that lump-food, their bodies became coarse and heavy, their light diminished, and then, when darkness arose, the sun and moon also appeared. Those who were attached to the taste of the earth gradually declined, and then earth-cream appeared. Because of attachment to that, it also declined, and sprout-beds appeared. Because of attachment to that, they also declined, and unplowed, unsown rice, sāli, appeared, and when they ate it, because it was very coarse, in order to create a common cause, sentient beings developed urine and feces, as well as male and female organs, and different shapes also appeared. When they saw each other, due to the power of past habits, they were seized by the demon of improper attention, and because of the lust that arose, they entered the wrong path. Such is the beginning of desire being afflicted by the demon of the element of desire. Furthermore, they took the rice, sāli, which could be eaten internally, internally, and what was eaten at night was also taken at night, and so any sentient being with a lazy nature began to hoard, and other sentient beings also began to imitate. They developed a sense of ownership towards these, and so the rice was harvested, threshed, and no longer grew. Then the fields were divided, and completely taken as one's own, and that was the beginning of trying to seize the fields of others. Then they gathered together to punish those who violated these rules, and so they appointed someone as the lord of the fields, and imposed a sixth of the produce as tax. The lord of the fields was given the name "royal lineage." Because he was revered by the great multitude of people and loved by all beings, he was given the name "the king is revered by many," and that was the beginning of the lineage of kings passing from one to another. Then, some king
