མས་ཀྱི་ཚེ། །འདོད་པའི་ལྷ་དང་འདྲ་བ་ཡིན། །ད་ནི་རང་ཉིན་ཞག་དེ་ན། དེ་དག་གི་ནི་རིམ་བཞིན་དུ་འདོད་པ་ན་སྤྱོད་པའི་ལྷ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཇི་ལྟ་བ་བཞིན་དུ་རིག་པར་བྱ་སྟེ། ཇི་ལྟ་ཞེ་ན། རྒྱལ་ཆེན་བཞི་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཚེའི་ཚད་གང་ཡིན་པ་དེ་ནི། དམྱལ་བ་ཆེན་པ་ཡང་སོས་ཀྱི་ཉིན་ཞག་གཅིག་ཡིན་ལ། ཉིན་ཞག་དེས་དེ་པ་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཚེའི་ཚེད་ནི་ཞག་སུམ་ཅུ་ལ་ཟླ་བ་གཅིག། ཟླ་བ་བཅུ་གཉིས་ལ་ལོ་གཅིག་པའི་ལོ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཐུབ་སྟེ། དེ་བཞིན་དུ་གཞན་དག་ལ་ཡང་རིམ་བཞིན་དུ་སྦྱར་བར་བྱའོ། །རབ་ཏུ་ཚ་བ་ཕྱེད་ཡིན་ནོ། །སེམས་ཅན་དམྱལ་བ་རབ་ཏུ་ཚ་བའི་ཚེའི་ཚད་ནི་བར་གྱི་བསྐལ་པ་ཕྱེད་དོ། །མནར་མེད་པ་ནི་བསྐལ་པ་གཅིག །དུད་འགྲོ་རྣམས་ནི་ངེས་པ་མེད་དེ། དུད་ འགྲོ་མཆོག་ཏུ་རིང་བ་ནི་བསྐལ་བ་ཡིན་ནོ། །དུད་འགྲོ་མཆོག་ཏུ་ཚེ་རིང་བ་བསྐལ་བའོ། །དེ་ཡང་ཀླུ་དགའ་བོ་དང་ཉེ་དགའ་བོ་ལ་སོགས་པ་སྟེ། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དགེ་སློང་དག་ཀླུ་དང་ཀླུ་ཆེན་པོ་བརྒྱད་པོ་འདི་དག་ནི། བསྐལ་པར་གནས་པས་འཛིན་པའོ་ཞེས་གསུངས་སོ། །ཡི་དགས་རྣམས་ཟླ་བ་ཉིན་ཞག་ལོ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ། མི་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཟླ་བ་ཡང་ཡིན་པ་དེ་ནི་ཡི་དགས་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཉིན་ཞག་ཡིན་ལ། ཉིན་ཞག་དེས་ན་དེ་དག་གི་ཚེའི་ཚད་ལོ་ལྔ་བརྒྱའོ། །གྲང་བའི་དམྱལ་བ་དག་ནི་ཚེའི་ཚད་ཇི་ཙམ་ཞེ་ན། ཏིལ་སྦྱངས་ནས་ནི་ལོ་བརྒྱ་ཞིང༌། །ཏིལ་གཅིག་ཕྲད་ནས་ཟད་འགྱུར་བ། །ཆུ་བུར་ཅན་གྱི་ཚེ་ཡིན་ཏེ། །གཞན་གྱི་ཚེ་ནི་ཉི་ཤུ་བསྒྱུར། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་དེ་དག་གི་ཚེའི་ཚད་ཀྱི་དཔེ་ཙམ་དུ་བཀའ་སྩལ་པ་ནི། དགེ་སློང་དག་འདི་ལྟ་སྟེ། དཔེར་ན་ཡུལ་མ་ག་དྷཱའི་ཏིལ་གྱི་སྦྱངས་ཁལ་ཉི་ཤུ་པ་ཅིག་ཏིལ་གྱིས་དགང་སྟེ། དེ་ནས་ལ་ལ་ཞིག་གིས་ལོ་བརྒྱ་བརྒྱ་འདས་ཤིང༌། ཏིལ་རེ་རེ་བོར་ནས་དགེ་སློང་དག་རིམ་པ་དེས་ན་ཡུལ་མ་ག་དྷཱའི་ཏིལ་གྱི་སྦྱངས་ཁལ་ཉི་ཤུ་པ་དེ་མ་ལུས་པར་འགྱུར་བ་ནི་ཆེས་མྱུར་གྱི། ཆུ་བུར་ཅན་དུ་སྐྱེས་པའི་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་ཀྱི་ཚེ་ཡོངས་སུ་གཏུགས་པར་ནི་ང་མི་སྨྲའོ། །དགེ་སློང་དག་ཆུ་བུར་ཅན་ཇི་ལྟ་བ་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་ཆུ་བུར་རྡོལ་བའི་ཚེ་གཅིག་གོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་ནས། ཡང་དགེ་སློང་དག་པདྨ་ལྟར་གས་པའི་ཉི་ཤུ་ཇི་ལྟ་བ་དེ་བཞིན་དུ་པདྨ་ལྟར་གས་པ་ཆེན་པོའི་ཚེ་གཅིག་གོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བའི་བར་དུ་རྒྱ་ཆེར་གསུངས་ཏེ། ཅི་ཚེ་དེ་ལྟ་བུ་དང་ལྡན་པའི་སེམས་ཅན་རྣམས་ཚེ་ཡོངས་སུ་མ་རྫོགས་པར་བར་མ་དོར་འཆི་བ་ཡོད་དམ། འོན་ཏེ་མ་ཡིན་ཞེ་ན། ཐམས་ཅད་ལ་ཡོད་དེ། སྒྲ་མི་སྙན

母亲的寿命，和欲界天神一样。现在从自己的日夜开始，那些就按照欲界天神那样去理解。怎么理解呢？四大天王的寿命是，大焦热地狱的一天一夜。那一天的日夜，他们的寿命是三十天为一月，十二个月为一年，能活五百年。同样，其他的也依次类推。极热地狱是半个中劫。无间地狱是一个劫。畜生没有定数，畜生中最长的是一个劫。畜生中最长寿的是一个劫。也就是龙喜和近喜等等。世尊说：比丘们，这八大龙和龙王，是以安住于劫而执持的。饿鬼的月日是五百年。人们的月也是饿鬼的日夜，那个日夜，他们的寿命是五百年。寒冷地狱的寿命有多长呢？ 磨碎芝麻需百年，一粒取尽方告终，此乃疱生地狱寿，其他地狱寿二十倍。 世尊对他们的寿命，只是略举一例而已。比丘们，例如摩揭陀国的二十卡利沙的芝麻，装满芝麻。然后某人每过一百年取出一粒芝麻，比丘们，这样依次取完摩揭陀国的二十卡利沙芝麻是非常快的。但是我不会说疱生地狱众生的寿命能够穷尽。比丘们，疱生地狱就像那样，疱裂地狱的寿命是一个。还有，比丘们，就像莲花裂开二十倍那样，大莲花裂开地狱的寿命是一个。这样广说。如果具有那样的众生，在寿命没有穷尽之前，会有中途死亡的吗？或者没有？回答是：都有，声音不好听。

The life of a mother is like that of a desire realm god. Now, starting from one's own day and night, those should be understood in the same way as the desire realm gods. How should they be understood? The lifespan of the Four Great Kings is one day and night of the great scorching hell. That day and night, their lifespan is thirty days for a month, twelve months for a year, and they can live for five hundred years. Similarly, the others should also be applied in order. The extremely hot hell is half a middle kalpa. The uninterrupted hell is one kalpa. Animals are uncertain, and the longest-lived animal is one kalpa. The longest-lived animal is one kalpa. That is, the dragon Joy and Near Joy, and so on. The Blessed One said: Monks, these eight great dragons and dragon kings are held by dwelling in kalpas. The ghosts' month and day are five hundred years. The month of humans is also the day and night of ghosts, and that day and night, their lifespan is five hundred years. How long is the lifespan of the cold hells? Grinding sesame seeds takes a hundred years, and it ends when one grain is taken away. This is the lifespan of the Blister Hell, and the lifespan of other hells is twenty times that. The Blessed One only gave a brief example of their lifespan. Monks, for example, twenty kalishas of sesame seeds from the country of Magadha are filled with sesame seeds. Then, someone takes out one sesame seed every hundred years. Monks, it is very fast to take out the twenty kalishas of sesame seeds from the country of Magadha in that order. But I will not say that the lifespan of the beings born in the Blister Hell can be exhausted. Monks, the Blister Hell is like that, and the lifespan of the Bursting Blister Hell is one. Also, monks, just like the lotus flower splitting twenty times, the lifespan of the Great Lotus Flower Splitting Hell is one. This is widely spoken. If there are beings with such qualities, will there be premature death before their lifespan is exhausted? Or not? The answer is: All have it, the sound is unpleasant.

否則就會有死亡。北俱盧洲的聲音不悅意的有情眾生的壽命是確定的，其他的則是不確定的。眾人之中，在中陰身中死亡的沒有很多，例如：住在兜率天的菩薩們是一生補處，以及有邊有餘涅槃者，和隨法行者們，以及菩薩，和轉輪王的母親在子宮中受生等等。這樣的話，用由旬和呼叫的量度來表示處所和身體。用年的量度也表示了熱，那兩種的量度沒有表示，所以應當說，那些所有的安立也是名稱，因此也應當說它的邊際，為了如實地表示那些，僅僅是最初的次第而已。色、名、時邊際者：極微、塵、字、剎那也。色之內，微細的邊際是極微。時間的邊際是剎那。名稱的邊際是字的字根，例如「pa」這個字。那又剎那的時間有多久呢？是因緣聚合後，能成為法的自性多久。其中，極微和微塵，以及同樣的鐵鉤、兔子和羊、牛和日光的塵埃，蟣和從那裡產生的和青稞。同樣的叫做指節。從上到上七倍增。這些極微等等，應當知道從上到上是七倍增，七個極微是微塵。七個微塵是鐵塵。七個鐵塵是水塵。七個水塵是兔子塵。七個兔子塵是羊塵。七個羊塵是牛塵。七個牛塵是日光。七個日光是蟣。七個蟣是從那裡產生的，從蟣產生的意思是虱子。七個虱子是青稞。七個青稞是指節。三個指節叫做指，所以這沒有說。如果正面來說的話：二十四指節是一肘。四肘是一弓。是叫做弓箭的意義。那些五百個是：一呼叫，那裡認為是寺廟。五百弓是一呼叫，從村莊到一呼叫左右的距離認為是寺廟。八個那個

Otherwise, there will be death. The lifespan of sentient beings in the unpleasant sound of Uttarakuru is certain, while others are uncertain. Among people, there are not many who die in the bardo, such as: Bodhisattvas residing in Tushita who are one birth away from enlightenment, those with remainder of existence, and those who follow the Dharma, as well as Bodhisattvas, and the mother of the Chakravartin king who is conceived in the womb, and so on. In this way, the places and bodies are indicated by the measure of yojanas and calls. The measure of years also indicates heat, but the measure of those two is not indicated, so it should be said that all those establishments are also names, therefore its boundary should also be stated, in order to truly indicate those, it is only the initial order. The limits of form, name, and time are: minute particle, dust, letter, instant. Within form, the limit of fineness is the minute particle. The limit of time is the instant. The limit of name is the root of the letter, for example, the letter "pa". How long is that instant? It is how long the nature of Dharma can be obtained after the causes and conditions have gathered. Among them, the minute particle and the dust, as well as the same hook, rabbit, sheep, cow, and sunlight dust, louse and what arises from that, and barley. Similarly, it is called a finger joint. It increases sevenfold from top to top. These minute particles and so on, should be known to increase sevenfold from top to top, seven minute particles are dust. Seven dusts are iron dust. Seven iron dusts are water dust. Seven water dusts are rabbit dust. Seven rabbit dusts are sheep dust. Seven sheep dusts are cow dust. Seven cow dusts are sunlight. Seven sunlights are lice. Seven lice are what arises from that, what arises from lice means a nit. Seven nits are barley. Seven barleys are a finger joint. Three finger joints are called a finger, so this is not said. If we speak plainly: Twenty-four finger joints are a cubit. Four cubits are a bow. It is the meaning of calling it a bow. Those five hundred are: a call, that is considered a monastery.
