Because it has the state of existence, it is seeking existence. Because it seeks fragrance, it is seeking fragrance. Because it manifestly tends towards birth, it is manifestly accomplished, as it says in the sutra, the body with harm is manifestly accomplished. The world with harm is born, so it is said. Furthermore, it is said in the sutra that the all-pervasive action by which manifest accomplishment is achieved is abandoned, but there are also individuals for whom the all-pervasive action of birth is not abandoned, so four statements are made. Moreover, if all dharmas with outflows also nourish existence, why is it only this? If it is indeed so, it is nevertheless spoken of from the main aspect. In this, there are two: the place and the meaning of the place. The two are the increase of other existence and the meaning of accomplishment, in order. The place is the body with the senses. What makes it grow is coarse food. The place is the mind and mental factors, and what makes them grow is contact. For the time being, these two are the main ones for nourishing the existence born here. Thinking in the mind is what makes existence grow again. Thereafter, it is manifestly accomplished from the seed of consciousness completely arranged by karma. These two are the main ones for generating unborn existence, so four are spoken of. The first two nourish what is born, because it is like a mother. The latter two generate, because it is like a mother. How sentient beings' dependent origination is and how it abides, and death and transference have also been explained. Now, where does the mind abide? Death and birth should be spoken of. It is said: Measure and connection, detachment from desire, deterioration and death, transference and birth, it is considered to be the consciousness of the mind itself. The root of virtue is completely severed, and the root of virtue itself is connected, detachment from desire for realms and grounds, complete deterioration, death, transference, and birth. These six dharmas are considered to be the consciousness of the mind, and not others. By the word "birth," it should also be understood that the nature of the intermediate state connection is spoken of. Feeling is, death, transference, birth, equanimity. Because it is the death and transference, it is the death and transference.

Because it is birth, therefore it is birth. For those two, it is neither happiness nor suffering, so it is feeling, that is because it is not clear. Others are clear, because consciousness is clear, so it is not suitable for death and birth. For that consciousness of mind also, those two of the one-pointed mind are not. Connected with death and birth, because the merits are not equal, and because it arises from manifest actions, and because it is beneficial, so equal establishment has no death and birth. It is also not without mind, because for those without mind, harm cannot be done, when his body begins to completely perish, at that time it must be that the consciousness related to the body manifests, and afterwards it is not another death. For birth, also because there is no cause for the cessation of mind, and without afflictions there will be no birth, so it is also unreasonable for those without mind. Regarding the existence of death, it is explained in three ways, for the Arhat it is, Nirvana, unpredicted two. If there is equanimity in the desire realm, then it is either action or maturation. If not, then it is only action. Therefore, if it is said that it is only unpredicted, and not others, that is because it is in accordance with the cessation of mind and is weak. Also, at the time of death, in which part of the body does consciousness cease? For sudden death, the senses of the body will completely disappear together. If gradually dying, then, at that time, those who go to the lower realms, go to the heavens, go to the human realm, the unborn, when gradually dying, the feet and, the navel and the heart, the mind dies. Because going to the lower realms, so it is those who go to the lower realms, those who go to the evil realms. Because going to the human realm, so it is those who go to the human realm, those who go to the human realm. Because going to the heavens, so it is those who go to the heavens, those who go to the heavens. Those, according to the order, consciousness ceases in the feet and, the navel and the heart. Also, because unborn, so it is the unborn, it is the Arhat. Those consciousness also ceases in the heart. Others say it is on the crown of the head, that is because the consciousness of the body ceases in those places. The consciousness of the body is at the time of death
