In terms of arising, it is origination (ཀུན་འབྱུང་བ།, kun 'byung ba, Sanskrit: samudaya, literal Chinese meaning: accumulation). In terms of continuous existence, it is growth. In terms of manifest accomplishment, it is condition, just as when lumps of clay, wheels, ropes, and water gather together, a vase becomes manifestly accomplished. Because of the destruction of the aggregates, it is cessation (འགོག་པ།, 'gog pa, Sanskrit: nirodha, literal Chinese meaning: elimination). Because of pacifying the three fires, it is tranquility. Because of the absence of harm, it is abundance. Because of being free from all faults, it is definite departure. In terms of going, it is the path (ལམ།, lam, Sanskrit: marga, literal Chinese meaning: path). Because of possessing reason, it is intellect. In terms of truly accomplishing, it is accomplishment. Because of truly transcending, it is called definite departure. What is the meaning of "aspect"? Is wisdom also an aspect? Does wisdom alone sever aspects? The answer is no. How is it? It is: It and with object, sever aspect. Wisdom and other phenomena with objects sever all aspects. Sever all existing aspects. Whatever slightly exists, all its aspects are severed. Thus, wisdom is both aspect and that which severs aspect. It is also the aspect to be severed. Others with objects are that which severs aspect and the aspect to be severed. That which is without object is established as merely the aspect to be severed. Furthermore, the distinctions of goodness and so on of these ten knowledges are to be shown. The first three, the others are all good. Conventional knowledge is the first because it is spoken first in the verse. That is, it is of three kinds: good, non-good, and unspecified. The other nine wisdoms are only good. The first (conventional wisdom) exists in all realms, that is, from the desire realm up to the peak of existence. The sixth (knowledge of dharma) exists in the four dhyanas, unimpededness, and special dhyanas. The ninth (subsequent knowledge), subsequent knowledge exists in the above-mentioned sixth realm and the three formless realms. Similarly, the six knowledges of suffering, origination, cessation, path, exhaustion, and non-arising also exist without distinction in the above-mentioned nine realms. If distinguished, then those included by the knowledge of dharma are

There are six. Those included in subsequent knowledge have nine. Other mind knowledge is in meditative concentration. Others' minds are known only in the four dhyanas, not in others. That is in the desire and form realms. Others' minds manifest in those desire and form realms. Dharma knowledge is in the desire realm body. Dharma knowledge manifests only by relying on the body of the desire realm, but does not manifest in the form and formless realms. Others are the bodies of the three realms. What others are there? Those other than knowledge of others' minds and dharma knowledge. The ground and body have been explained. Now, the collection of mindfulness will be discussed, that is: One mindfulness is the cessation intellect. Intellect, wisdom, and knowledge are synonyms. Cessation knowledge is dharma mindfulness. Other mind intellect has three: Other mind knowledge is these three: feeling, mind, and dharma mindfulness. The remainder are four. Those other than cessation knowledge and other mind knowledge are all four mindfulnesses. What consciousness is the object of? How many consciousnesses are there? The sphere of activity of dharma intellect is nine. The object of dharma knowledge is the nine consciousnesses other than subsequent knowledge. The subsequent intellect of the path has nine. The object of the path intellect is also the nine consciousnesses other than conventional knowledge, and the object of subsequent knowledge is also the nine other than dharma knowledge. Suffering and the cause, two intellects. The two objects of the two knowledges of suffering and arising are the two of conventional knowledge and other mind knowledge. Four have ten, the objects of conventional knowledge and other mind knowledge, and knowledge of exhaustion and knowledge of non-arising, etc., are all ten consciousnesses. One has none. Cessation knowledge, the object of one, has no consciousness. Ten dharmas should be combined. What ten? The three realms and stainless dharma. The two unconditioned, two. Conditioned dharmas operate in the desire, form, and formless realms, and the undefiled dharmas are equally possessed and not possessed.

Then, from the perspective of realms, it is divided into eight types. Non-conditioned phenomena are divided into two types from the perspective of virtue and non-specified. Thus, there are ten dharmas. How should these ten dharmas be applied? They should be applied by asking: What is the object of which wisdom, and how many dharmas are there? To this, the object of conventional wisdom is all ten dharmas. Dharma-wisdom includes the four dharmas of the desire realm and the absence of outflows, and the five virtuous non-conditioned dharmas. Subsequent wisdom includes the six dharmas of the form and formless realms and the absence of outflows, and the seven virtuous non-conditioned dharmas. The two wisdoms of suffering and origin include the six dharmas of the desire, form, and formless realms. The wisdom of cessation is only one virtuous non-conditioned dharma. The wisdom of the path is the two without outflows. Other-mind-wisdom includes the three equally possessed dharmas of the desire, form, and formless realms. The objects of the two wisdoms of exhaustion and non-arising are the nine dharmas excluding the non-specified non-conditioned dharma. Can one dharma-wisdom know all dharmas? No. However, one conventional wisdom, from its own aggregates, can know that others are without self. Conventional wisdom knows that all dharmas other than its own aggregates are without self. One's own nature and the dharmas that arise simultaneously with it are its own aggregates. Because the object and the subject are different, and because the object is the same and very close, they are not clung to. Among these, what is included in the desire realm is co-arisen and thought-born. What is included in the form realm is co-arisen, not meditation-born, because it is based on the earth kasina. This is complete. Now, let's talk about "how many wisdoms one possesses." For now, ordinary beings possess only one conventional wisdom. If one is free from desire, then one also possesses other-mind-wisdom. Noble ones, in the first moment of the outflow-free path, a being with attachment possesses one wisdom. If one has not abandoned attachment to the desire realm, then at the moment of forbearance of dharma-wisdom regarding suffering, one will possess only one conventional wisdom.
