Because it is the antidote to everything. From the aspect, one knows suffering and its origin, because the object is undifferentiated. From the aspect and the object, one knows cessation and the path, because the aspect and the object are different. From the thorough application, one knows the minds of others, because it is not that one does not know what arises from the minds of others, but because one diligently strives to know the mind, it is manifestly accomplished, therefore it is called knowing the minds of others. From the deed done, one knows exhaustion, because it arises only at the beginning in the continuum of the deed done. From the cause being extensive, one knows the wisdom of non-arising, because it is the cause of all uncontaminated dharmas. Because the antidote to everything is everything, it is said that the knowledge of dharma is the antidote to the desire realm, but also: Cessation is the path of meditation, Whatever knowledge of dharma is the path, Is the antidote to the three realms. The knowledge of dharma in cessation and the path, which is encompassed by the path of meditation, is the antidote to all three realms. It is not a subsequent of the desire realm. In any case, the antidote to the desire realm has no subsequent. From those ten kinds of knowledge, the knowledge of dharma and the subsequent knowledge have sixteen aspects. Those will be explained in front. The conventional is also like that. Conventional knowledge also has sixteen aspects, and because the knowledge of dharma holds all the characteristics of self and generalities, etc., it is also other aspects. The four aspects of each of the truths, the knowledge of suffering, origin, cessation, and path, each enter into their own aspects, so each one is also four aspects. Likewise, knowing the minds of others. Immaculate knowing the minds of others, uncontaminated knowing the minds of others is also like that, because it is the four aspects of one's own truth, so it is four aspects, because it is the path of knowledge. With defilements, are the characteristics of what is to be known. Knowing the minds of others with contamination is because it holds its own characteristics. Whatever is the self-nature of the mind and mental factors to be known, that is what is decided. Both are, each thing is an object of experience. When one holds the mind, then

When mind arises, it is not grasped; when feeling arises, it is grasped; at that time, thoughts are not grasped, and so on. Thus, the Blessed One once said, "With regard to a mind with desire, one also truly knows that it is a mind with desire." What is the matter? These two are not grasped simultaneously. Just as clothes and dirt cannot be grasped simultaneously. Knowing the minds of others has already been explained. There are fourteen remaining aspects, except for emptiness and selflessness. The remaining knowledge of cessation and non-arising, those two have fourteen aspects other than the aspects of emptiness and selflessness. Although it is the ultimate truth, I have exhausted birth. From now on, I will not know other existences, because I establish terms accordingly with this power. Are there other characteristics of the unpolluted self-nature, or are there not? For the time being, the Kashmiris say: Except for the sixteen stainless ones, there are none. Except for the sixteen aspects of stainlessness, there are none, they say. Others in other treatises say that there are. How is it realized? From the treatises, the treatises say: Do you know the desires of the mind that are not in accordance and the corresponding dharmas? If asked if they know, the answer is yes. With the wisdom generated by reason, one knows impermanence, suffering, emptiness, selflessness, as well as cause, accumulation, arising, and conditions, that is, existence, that is, the basis, it is said. Are these sixteen aspects from the perspective of names? Or from the perspective of entities? Some say that there are sixteen from the perspective of names. From the perspective of entities, there are four aspects of suffering, and for accumulation, cessation, and path, because each is an entity, there are seven, they say. It is said: From the perspective of entities, there are sixteen aspects. Among them, because it depends on conditions, it is impermanent. Because it is of the nature of harm, it is suffering. Because it is the antidote to the clinging to self, it is emptiness. Because it is the antidote to the clinging to self, it is selflessness. In the manner of a seed, it is a cause.
