In the third and fourth dhyanas, there are only thirty-five (mental factors) excluding joy and right mindfulness. In the intermediate dhyana as well, there are thirty-five excluding those two. (In) the formless realm, the third (dhyana) is the same as this, connecting the word "excluding." In the formless realm, there are thirty-two excluding right view, right action boundary, right livelihood, joy, and right mindfulness. (Bodhi limbs) and path branches, excluding the desire realm summit, there are twenty-two bodhi limbs, because there is no undefiled path in those two. When abiding in the bodhi limbs, in what situations is it known that faith is obtained? Seeing the three truths and discipline, one obtains faith after knowing contentment. If one directly realizes the path, then it is also the same for the Buddha and his sangha. If one directly realizes the truths of suffering, origin, and cessation, then one develops affection for the Dharma and obtains the discipline that pleases the noble ones. If one directly realizes the path truth, then one obtains faith after knowing from the Buddha and his shravaka sangha, and their faith is the Dharma that makes one an arhat Buddha, and faith is obtained from the Dharma that makes one a trainee and arhat sangha. Also, through the word "also," one can also obtain the two faiths after knowing discipline and Dharma. What is meant by "Dharma" here? Dharma refers to the three truths and pratyekabuddha, and the bodhisattva's path. Therefore, for directly realizing all four truths, one can also obtain faith after knowing in the Dharma. Thus, those are called four faiths after knowing from the perspective of names, from the difference of the basis of faith. From the perspective of substance, there are two, namely faith and discipline, and faith after knowing the Dharma and sangha is the nature of faith. The discipline that pleases the noble ones is discipline, therefore there are two substances. Are they defiled or undefiled? For the time being, all faiths after knowing are stainless. What is the meaning of faith after knowing? Trusting after truly realizing the truths as they are is faith after knowing, their order

It is arranged just as it appears when one rises from a seat. If asked, how does it appear when one rises? Alas, the Bhagavan is a perfectly complete Buddha. His Dharma and Vinaya are well-spoken. His Sangha of Hearers is well-entered, thinking thus, like a doctor and medicine, and like nursing a patient. If the mind is connected with the intermediate state, it is either extreme faith in discipline, or it is the practice of such faith, or it is like being without illness, therefore, it is said to be the fourth in the end, or like a teacher, a path, a companion on the path, and a vehicle. In the Sutra, it is said that a trainee possesses eight limbs, and a non-trainee possesses ten limbs. Why are true liberation and true wisdom not taught to the trainee? Because of bondage, liberation is not taught in the limbs of the trainee. A trainee is bound because he has not yet been liberated from the bondage of afflictions. If so, how can liberation be established while being bound? One cannot be called liberated because one is liberated from one aspect of bondage. Since one is not completely liberated, how can one establish it as the wisdom of liberation? A non-trainee is completely liberated from all the bonds of afflictions, and is distinguished by the wisdom of its own nature, so this statement is reasonable. What is called "liberation"? It is conditioned and unconditioned. Among them, destroying afflictions is unconditioned, and aspiration is conditioned. Abandoning afflictions is the unconditioned liberation. The aspiration of a non-trainee is the conditioned liberation. The limb is that. That conditioned liberation is said to be the limb of a non-trainee, because the limbs are all conditioned. That itself is two liberations. That conditioned liberation itself. In the Sutra, it is said that liberation of mind and liberation of wisdom are two liberations, and it can also be regarded that that itself is the aggregate of liberation. True liberation has been explained. What is true wisdom other than true view? As
