All four cases are not necessarily prophesied, just like a naked ascetic's disciple catching a bird. Therefore, the four cases such as "the world has an end" are also not prophesied, and these four questions are consistent in meaning. For example, after the wandering ascetic asked these four questions, he asked again: Will all worlds necessarily be liberated by this path? Or does the world have only one direction? When the Venerable Ananda replied: Ascetic, the question you initially asked the Blessed One, are you now asking in another way? Similarly, the four questions about "does the Tathagata exist after death" are also not prophesied based on the questioner's thoughts, because he thinks that he is the Tathagata after liberation. For people, there should be debate and investigation, why does the Blessed One give the prophecy of "existence" to living people, but not after death? Because this would fall into the fault of permanence. Then, why is it prophesied that Maitreya, you will become a Tathagata, Arhat, Samyaksambuddha in the future? Why is it prophesied that so-and-so will be born in a certain place, and for the deceased Shravaka disciples? If so, it will fall into permanence. If the Blessed One saw someone before, but no longer sees him after he passed away, because he does not understand and does not give a prophecy, then this is denying the teacher's omniscience. Or it must be admitted that he does not exist. If he sees, then even if he does not say it, it is established that he exists and is permanent. If it is said that he neither sees nor does not see, then do not say in sequence whether the Blessed One is omniscient or not. People do exist, like this, the idea of truth and abiding in non-self is declared as a view. Thinking that it exists is also declared as a view, so this is not reliable. The Dharmalakshana school says: Both of these are attachments, and are included in the views of permanence and annihilation.
