The last two sense bases are the pure nature of the formless realm. The objects of experience are their respective four aggregates. The object of these two is their respective four aggregates. The overcoming sense bases arise from entering liberation, and the exhaustive sense bases arise from entering the overcoming sense bases, because they are superior and more excellent from above. Except for the cessation liberation, all those liberations and so on are present in the continuums of ordinary beings and noble ones. What? Do those liberations and so on arise from effort, or are they obtained by being free from desire? For this question, cessation has already been explained. The cessation liberation has already been explained in all ways before. The remainder is: obtained by detachment from desire and effort. Liberations and so on other than cessation are obtained by detachment from desire and also arise from effort, because of familiarity and unfamiliarity. Formless, called the three realms, dependent, the remainder arises from humans. The formless liberation and, the formless exhaustion are dependent on the three realms. The remainder is only dependent on humans, because it is produced by the power of scripture. How then do the distinctions of formlessness and concentration arise in the form and formless realms? Cause, action, and nature, the concentrations and formless absorptions arise from three causes. Among them, formlessness in the two realms, by the power of cause and action. In the form and formless realms, the arising of formless absorption, the power of cause is familiarity and repeated practice, and so on. The power of action is because the ripening of the action of experiencing the result of the higher ground in other instances is close to abiding. Because one has not become detached from desire from the lower ground, one cannot be born upwards. The concentrations in the form realm, those and also nature, other concentrations in the form realm, arise from those powers of cause and action and also from nature, like at the time of destruction. At that time, all sentient beings of the lower ground
