That is unobstructed, which is pure and also without outflows. The heart-essence combination of approaching mind is afflicted, but in equanimity, the afflicted nature itself is negated. Some consider three, and some also consider that unobstructed is similar to tasting. The term "approaching" also appears, and the term "superior contemplation" also appears. So, are these the same meaning? Or are they different meanings? They are different meanings, approaching is the path of detachment from desire, while non-conceptual superior contemplation, only the first dhyana that does not correspond to discernment is superior contemplation, because it is the superiority of contemplation. Therefore, in the second dhyana and so on, no distinctions are made, because there is no difference. That superior contemplation has three aspects, similar to tasting, pure, and without outflows. That is neither happiness nor suffering, because there is no happiness here, so it is neither happiness nor suffering, it is a term associated with equanimity. Because it is guided by manifest fabrication, it is also not associated with joy, therefore it is a difficult path. So, what is the superior fruit of superior contemplation? That is the fruit of Great Brahma. After cultivating that superior contemplation, one will become Great Brahma. Again, all samadhis are briefly summarized, the sutras say there are three samadhis: samadhi with investigation and analysis, samadhi without investigation but only analysis, and samadhi without investigation and without analysis. Among them, temporarily in superior contemplation, because only investigation is blocked, it should be known as samadhi without investigation but only analysis. Below that is with both investigation and analysis, samadhi. The samadhi below superior contemplation, namely the first dhyana and unobstructed, is associated with investigation and analysis. Above that, neither exists, therefore, here neither exists. The samadhi above superior contemplation, namely the near of the second dhyana.

From the peak of existence to the peak of existence, there is neither conception nor discrimination. Furthermore, there are three samādhis mentioned: the samādhi of emptiness, the samādhi of wishlessness, and the samādhi of signlessness. Among these, the samādhi that is in accordance with the aspect of signless peace and the aspect of cessation is signless; it is the fourth aspect. Nirvāṇa is signless because it is free from the ten signs, and the samādhi that focuses on it is the samādhi of signlessness. The ten signs are the five objects, male and female, and the characteristics of compounded phenomena. Emptiness, selflessness, enters into emptiness. The samādhi that is in accordance with the aspects of selflessness and emptiness is emptiness; it is the second aspect. Wishlessness is the samādhi that is in accordance with the aspect of truth other than that, and the aspect of the remaining truth, is wishlessness; it is the tenth aspect. Because of being disgusted with impermanence, suffering, and their causes, and because the path must also be abandoned like a raft, the samādhi that has this aspect is wishlessness, because it manifestly tends to transcend it. Because it is similar to nirvāṇa, one is not disgusted with emptiness and selflessness. These three samādhis are of two kinds: pure and immaculate, because they are worldly and transworldly. The pure ones are also undefiled, and the worldly ones exist in the eleven grounds. The transworldly ones exist where there is a path. These are the three doors of immaculate liberation. These three samādhis are the doors to immaculate liberation, therefore they are the door to liberation, emptiness; the door to liberation, wishlessness; and the door to liberation, signlessness; they are called the three doors to liberation. Again, emptiness, emptiness, and so on. Furthermore, there are three samādhis. That is to say, emptiness, emptiness; wishlessness, wishlessness; and signlessness, signlessness. Focusing on emptiness, and so on.

Therefore, it is called that name. Among those, two are emptiness and impermanence, which are the objects of the non-learner. The other two samādhis are the objects of the non-learner's samādhi, that is, emptiness of emptiness is the non-learner's samādhi of emptiness, with the aspect of emptiness as the object. Wishlessness Wishlessness is also the non-learner's wishlessness, with the aspect of impermanence as the object. Suffering is also not, cause and so on are also not, because the uncontaminated is not its characteristic. It is also not the aspect of the path, because it should be refuted. Signlessness Signlessness is, peace is not contemplated, exhaustion is there. Signlessness The samādhi of signlessness is the non-learner's signlessness, without contemplation, in cessation, with the aspect of peace as the object, because with uncontaminated contemplation, there is no contamination. The aspects of cessation and excellence and determination are not, because it is the impermanent cessation, and because it is common, and because it is unindicated, and because it is not separation. These other samādhis are only contaminated, because they are contrary to the noble path, those that are uncontaminated are not like that. Where does it arise? Among humans, it arises only among humans, not among gods. In whom does it arise? In the immovable and the Arhat, not in others. In which ground is it not? Except for the seven proximity grounds. Except for the seven proximity grounds, the other eleven grounds exist in the desire realm and the unobstructed and the excellent samādhi and the samādhi and the formless realm. Again, there are four meditations on samādhi, the meditation on samādhi, if practiced repeatedly, practiced many times, there is also dwelling in bliss in this life, called the extensive explanation there. The virtuous first dhyāna is, the practice of the samādhi of bliss transformation. The virtuous first dhyāna, the pure one or the uncontaminated one is, the practice of the samādhi of dwelling in bliss in this life. Because that is the first, it should be known that the others are also. Dwelling in bliss in the next life
