If one emanation speaks, all emanations speak. If one does not speak, then all of them will not speak. Because there is such a verse appearing. The Buddha's emanation, how should it be said to view the order? When there is a mind to make it speak, because there is no mind of emanation, if there is no emanation, how to make it speak? Because of blessing, it makes others enter. Because one wants to stay, one blesses the emanation, from other minds, it makes all that can be distinguished arise, thereby making language enter. Is it only the living that have blessings? Or do the dead also have them? The dead also have blessings. Because of the blessing of the great venerable Kashyapa, his skeletal remains are able to exist. That is also not for the impermanent. There is no blessing for impermanent things, because the great venerable Kashyapa did not bless the flesh and so on. Others are not like this, others say: the dead have no blessing, the existence of skeletal remains is due to the power of the gods. Does one mind only emanate one emanation? Initially, many become one, and after becoming an action, it is reversed. Initially, many minds of emanation emanate one emanation. After the perfection of clairvoyance, one mind can emanate many emanations. Then, are all the minds of emanation unspecified? What arises from meditation is unspecified. Whatever is the fruit of meditation is definitely unspecified. There are three kinds of those born from birth. Gods, nagas, flesh-eaters, etc., the minds of emanation obtained from these birthplaces are virtuous, non-virtuous, and unspecified. The emanations they make, connected to their own and others' bodies, are because they are soundless and colored sense bases. The sense base is poison, because there is no difference from the faculties. The faculties do not emanate. Are there only these two kinds of miraculous powers, those arising from meditation and those obtained from birth? There are two kinds of miraculous powers, as well as mantras, medicines, and those arising from karma, making a total of five. Divine

Miraculous powers, if briefly summarized, can be divided into five types: the result of cultivation, those obtained by birth, those arising from secret mantras, those arising from medicine, and those arising from karma. For example, milk produced from me, and beings in the intermediate state, etc. Are the ears and eyes of the gods, as described, only possessed by the gods? Or, are bodhisattvas, universal monarchs, wealthy patrons, etc., similar to the gods in their possessions, so are they also considered gods? Answer: They are the eyes and ears of the gods. Like this, these two are: the form born of meditation, and the sound around the eyes and ears of those who enter into meditation, through the yoga of focusing on appearance, the form and sound caused by the elements of earth, water, fire, and wind born of meditation, the cause of seeing and hearing is manifested, therefore they are born of meditation, so these eyes and ears are only possessed by the gods. These two are also always dependent, without incompleteness, and are the realm of distant, subtle, etc. The eyes and ears of the gods always exist together with consciousness, therefore there is nothing comparable to them. Because there are no blind or deaf, they are also not incomplete, like sentient beings walking in form. The realm of these two is form and sound, including distant, subtle, and obscured. Here it is said: Because the physical eye cannot see all forms that are distant, hidden, and subtle and vast, it is therefore believed that the gods can see. How far can the divine eye see? It depends on what kind of eye it is. Hearers, solitary realizers, and Buddhas, without intentional effort, can see a thousand worlds, two thousand worlds, and three thousand worlds. Through intentional effort, Arhats and Pratyekabuddhas can see two thousand worlds, three thousand worlds, and countless worlds. Great Hearers, through all intentional efforts, can see two thousand worlds with the divine eye. Like Pratyekabuddhas, they can see three thousand worlds. The Buddha, the Bhagavan, can see countless worlds as he wishes. Is it only miraculous powers that are obtained by birth? Or are there others? Answer: There are others, which are also obtained by birth. Such as the divine ear, etc.
