Perfection, the perfection of power, and the perfection of the body being as solid as a vajra. Thus, these are the abbreviated essence of the greatness of the Buddhas. Their distinctions are endless. Moreover, only the Bhagavatas, if their lives were blessed for countless eons, would know everything and use it for speech. For the time being, Thus, the Tathagatas are the source of great treasures of limitless and wonderful qualities, wisdom, power, and benefit. However, children themselves, being poor in qualities and having lost faith, even if they hear of such wealth of qualities, do not respect the Buddha and his teachings. The wise, even from their feet, are exceedingly pleased with the Bhagavan and his teachings. Those who are singularly pleased, even by mere pleasure, can overcome the accumulation of sins that have not yet ripened, experience the goodness of gods and humans, and attain the supreme nirvana to be attained. Therefore, the Tathagatas are called the unsurpassed field of merit, because they are not without fruit, pleasing, excellent, swift, and have a good ending. The Bhagavan also said: "Those who do even a small deed for the victorious guide, will go to various heavens and attain the state of nectar." Thus, these are called the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha. Not shared with other teachings and disciples. Other qualities of the Buddhas are shared with the Shravakas. Some are shared with ordinary beings. What are those? Appropriately, freedom from afflictions and knowing as desired, individual perfect knowledge, etc. Freedom from afflictions, knowing as desired, individual perfect knowledge, supernormal knowledge, meditation, formlessness, immeasurables, liberation, the spheres of mastery, the spheres of totality, and so on. Among these, freedom from afflictions means that for an Arhat, the suffering of sentient beings is an affliction.

Arising from the ground, and also knowing oneself to be a distinction of the place of merit, then focusing on that, wanting to completely abandon the arising of afflictions. Because, they do not cause afflictions to arise in any way, and no one, focusing on that, causes attachment, or hatred, or pride to arise, generating such wisdom. That path does not cause afflictions to arise at all, therefore it is without afflictions. The one without afflictions is mundane knowledge. Its nature is this. At the limit of meditation is the ground of the fourth dhyana, because it is the most excellent of the easy paths. It is the dharma of immovability. It is not by other Arhats, because others sometimes cannot completely abandon all afflictions even from their own continuum. It is produced by humans. In the three continents, it is produced only among humans. Afflictions are included in desire, those who do not arise have a basis and an object of practice. The object of this is the future with a basis, etc., which is practiced when afflictions are desired, because it is entered in such a way, so that those others do not generate afflictions. Afflictions without a basis cannot be completely abandoned, because all practitioners, etc., themselves focus on everything. As it is said, without afflictions, so is the knowledge of aspiration. That is also mundane knowledge, and it exists at the limit of meditation, and it is the possessor of the immovable dharma, and it is the possessor of a human body. Its object is everything. The object of the knowledge of aspiration is all dharmas, therefore this is a distinction. The Vaibhashikas say that the knowledge of aspiration cannot directly know the formless, etc. Then how is it? It is known from the difference of the homogeneous cause and the practice, here the example is like a farmer. The wisdom of sending forth aspiration beforehand is the wisdom of aspiration, thinking that this should be known, one enters into the fourth dhyana of the ultimate peak, and thus knows how the object of that samadhi becomes, knowing it as it is in reality. Similarly, with the meaning of the Dharma, those words and fearlessness, each truly knowing, each truly
