Therefore, feelings such as happiness cannot be distinctly established for minor sufferings, etc. The Blessed One also said, "Maitreya, if there is only suffering in one body, then there is no happiness, nor anything related to happiness." Therefore, there is still some happiness. For the time being, if that is the case, it cannot be established that there is no feeling of happiness in the sutras. If someone says that the cause of happiness is impermanent, that is only because they do not fully understand the cause. Depending on the difference of the basis, the object can be the cause of happiness or the cause of suffering, but not the object alone. When it meets a certain state of the body, it is the cause of happiness, and when it meets another state, it is not, so the cause of happiness is permanent. For example, depending on the difference of the elements to be cooked, fire can be the cause of cooking delicious food, and it can also be the cause of cooking unpalatable food. Meeting the state of the elements to be cooked and becoming the cause of cooking delicious food, meeting another state is not the cause, just like that, this is an example. In meditation, how can the cause of happiness be impermanent? If someone says that the thought of happiness arises for the antidote, then when experiencing the happiness arising from the difference of bells, etc., what will become the thought of happiness for the antidote? The suffering has not arisen or has ceased, and the thought of happiness will become very strong. For the happiness arising from meditation, what is the antidote, etc., such answers have already been given. For hiding a burden, as long as the body has not become that state, the happiness arising from other states will continue to arise. If it is not like that, later the thought of happiness will increase more and more. For the ways of acting of fatigue, it should also be understood in the same way. If there is no effort from the beginning, how will it become a thought of suffering in the end? This is due to the difference of the body completely changing, just like sweet things such as wine will eventually become sour. Therefore, the feeling of happiness exists.

The name "Onao" is also established, and because it possesses the three sufferings, the name "all that is tainted is suffering" is also established. That which is the truth of origination is the truth of suffering, which is a fault of the Sutra school, because the Sutra school says that it is only craving. It is said in the Sutra because it is the main thing, but others are also origination. How should this be understood? Because it is said that others are also established from others. As the Blessed One said: "Action, existence, and ignorance are the causes of actions in future lives." Also, the five aspects of seeds are said to be the synonyms of consciousness associated with grasping. It is also said that the earth element is a synonym for the four abodes of consciousness. Therefore, what is taught in the Sutra is intentional, and what is taught in the Abhidharma is characteristic. Furthermore, when teaching the cause of manifestation, it is said that the truth of origination is only craving. When teaching the cause of birth and manifestation, it is said in verses that it is action, craving, and ignorance. The Sutra says that action is the cause of birth, and existence is the cause of manifestation. Alternatively, the Sutra teaches the order of cause, condition, and basis. By showing the nature of seeds and fields, it is also taught to consciousness and so on. What is birth? What is manifestation? It is said that the birth of the body is birth, with the distinction of realms, destinies, birthplaces, and so on. Without distinction, the connection of continuity in existence is manifestation. The causes of these two are action and craving, respectively. For example, the difference in the types of seeds, such as rice and barley, is the cause of the sprouting of seedlings, and water is the cause of the sprouting of all seedlings without distinction. This is an example. What is the reason for saying that the cause of manifestation is craving? Because without craving, there is no birth.
