sam(藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思)是聚集的意思。ītya(藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思)是适于行走,即不停留的意思。ung(藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思)上面存在的pad(藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思)是出现的意思。

Here it is said that just as non-existence arises, so does non-encountering resemble it. If the born is born again, there is no end. However, it is also acceptable if it existed before. It is also the same with being together, there is no darkness when the lamp is lit. If you wipe while sleeping with your mouth open, why not when your mouth is closed? Others, in order to completely avoid this accusation, completely speculate on other meanings. Dependent arising means repetition. Sam (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) means gathering. Itya (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) means being suitable for walking, that is, not staying. Ung (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) the pad (藏文,梵文天城体,梵文罗马拟音,汉语字面意思) that exists above means appearance. It is said that those who are suitable to walk gathered in that assembly gather and arise, which is dependent arising. This understanding can only be thoroughly examined on this, relying on the eyes and forms, eye consciousness arises, how can this be? And why did the Blessed One say the two statements "When this exists, this arises; when this arises, this arises"? It is for the meaning of certainty. For example, because ignorance exists, actions and so on arise. Without the cause of ignorance, actions and so on will not exist, just as it is said. Or, if this limb exists, then this arises. When this limb arises, the other limb arises, in order to show the eight limbs. Or, if the previous end exists, then the present end will arise. When the present end arises, the future end arises, in order to show the continuation of life. Or, sometimes actions and so on are the aftermath of ignorance. Sometimes it is transmitted, in order to show the nature of the cause that is manifested and transmitted. Others say that without a cause, things will not arise. From the eternal Dharma of self-nature and Purusha, etc., which is neither born nor destroyed, not even a little will arise, in order to refute the proponents of causelessness and eternal cause. For this speculation, the words spoken earlier become meaningless, because the refutation of the two views can be established simply by saying "When this arises, this arises." Then, what is it that exists as the basis, so that actions and so on will arise? Because ignorance and so on arise, it is thought that they will arise.

Because there is function, therefore, in order to eliminate that conceptual thought, because something has arisen, therefore something arises, because that thing exists, therefore that thing occurs. It does not arise from other things, so this must be ascertained. For example, due to ignorance, actions arise, and up to the point where this great mass of suffering completely arises. Some teachers say that if ignorance is not abandoned, actions will not be abandoned, and because that thing has arisen, it will arise, this is to show in detail the unabandoned and what will arise. Others say that as long as the continuum of the cause exists, the continuum of the effect will arise. Because the cause itself has arisen, the effect will arise, this is to correctly show existence and arising. If it is in the case of arising, then what fault is there in the word of existence? Why would the Blessed One speak of existence first and arising later in a non-consistent order? Again, it is said that if this exists, then this arises, which means that if the effect exists, then the cause will perish. If that were the case, it would be thought that the effect arises from a causelessness, so it is said, therefore it does not arise from a causelessness, but it is said like this: because this has arisen, therefore this arises. If the meaning of the sutra were that, then it would only be said that if this exists, then this does not arise. For a while, first there is only the arising of the effect, and then it would be said that if this exists, then this does not arise, if that were the case, the order would be good. Otherwise, in the case of "What is dependent arising?", what is the intellect of destruction? Therefore, that is not the meaning of the sutra. Also, how is it that ignorance is the cause of actions, and birth is the cause of old age and death? Only a connection will be shown, because children do not understand that dependent arising is merely actions, so they cling to the view of self and the pride of "I am", and for the purpose of their own happiness, or for the purpose of neither happiness nor suffering, they perform three kinds of actions with the body and so on.
