Attachment. If asked, how is there attachment to desires in the mind of emanation? Because of hearing and being completely familiar, therefore there is attachment to it. Or, due to the power of emanation, there is also attachment to the mind that emanates. Or, in order to emanate scent and taste, if one desires those, then that itself is action. Because if it is form, through action, those two will not be emanated. Again, is it that the three realms are just one? The three realms are limitless. Just as vast as the sky is, so too are the realms of the world. Therefore, there is no arising of sentient beings that did not exist before, and although each Buddha's appearance causes countless sentient beings to completely pass beyond suffering, sentient beings are not exhausted, just like the sky. How do the realms of the world abide? They abide directly. The sutra says, for example, when a continuous rain falls like a yoke, there is no gap or interval between the streams of water falling from the sky. Similarly, in the east, there is no gap or interval between the formation and destruction of the realms of the world. Just as in the east, it is the same between the south, west, and north, it is said, but it is not said above and below. Others say that because it arises from other schools, there are also above and below. Above Akanistha, there is also the desire realm, and below the desire realm, there is also Akanistha, they say. Whoever is free from attachment from one desire realm is free from attachment from all. It is the same from the form and formless realms. Whoever relies on the first dhyana to generate miraculous powers, then from the realm of the world where he is born, he goes only as far as the Brahma world where he exists, and not elsewhere. What is said about these three realms, there, the five destinies such as hell, are shown by their own names. There, hell, animals, hungry ghosts, gods, and humans, these five destinies are shown only by their own names. In the desire realm, it is the aspect of the four and five destinies. In the form and formless realms, it is only the aspect of the god destiny. Because of what? In those realms, what realm is there other than the destinies?

So, is there any difference? Yes, the realms are of the nature of good, afflicted, vessel and intermediate existence, so what are the five paths? Those are neither afflicted nor prophesied. They do not belong to the category called "sentient beings." The realms are only unclouded and unindicated. If it were not so, the five paths would be confused. Even if it is only called "sentient being," it is not the nature of the intermediate existence. It is also said in imputation: the four births include the five paths, but the five paths do not include the four births. What is not included? It is the intermediate existence. It is also said in the Dharma Skandha, what is the eye realm? The form whose cause is the four great elements, whether it is the place of hell, animals, or hungry ghosts, or gods or humans, or arising from meditation, or the eye of the intermediate existence, the eye faculty, the eye source, the eye realm. It is also said in the Sutra that the intermediate existence is अलग (Sanskrit, Devanagari, alaga, separate) from the realms. Which sutra says so? There are seven existences, namely the existence of hell, the existence of animals, the existence of hungry ghosts, the existence of gods, the existence of humans, the existence of karma, and the intermediate existence. Here it is said that the five paths are with cause and with path. Therefore, it can be established that it is unclouded and unindicated, because from its cause, they are แยก (Sanskrit, Devanagari, vyakta, separate). The Kashmiris also say that the venerable Shariputra said, O venerable one, the defilements of the hell beings manifest, and they will do the deeds that will cause them to experience the suffering of hell, and so on. O venerable one, the mandala of body, speech, and mind, the faults of body, speech, and mind, the ripening of those impurities, form, feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness, will ripen in the hells, and after ripening, they will enter the ranks called hells. O venerable one, apart from these dharmas, one will not see hell. Therefore, the realms are unclouded and unindicated. So,
