The forms made by cause are mutually, and the non-form a little, and all arising things and so on. The attainment and possession, the co-emergent also arise together, but it is not the cause of co-emergence, because it is not the same as the fruit and the Vipaka and the similar cause. These are also not acting together with the mind, nor are they proper attention, because they arise before and will arise later. All of these are possible, but for the things called cause and effect, such as seeds, this principle does not appear, how the co-emergent Dharmas are the cause and effect, that should be stated. For example, like lamps and lights, and sprouts and shadows. For a moment, is the lamp the cause of light? Or is it only the previously occurred collection, the lamp and the light together are the cause of arising, this should be examined. Then, if it exists or does not exist, it is together with those, therefore the causalists say that the nature of the cause with cause is that. If it exists or does not exist, if it is determined to exist or not exist, then that is the cause, and the other is with the cause, the co-emergent Dharmas are also that if one exists, all exist, and if one does not exist, all do not exist, so that cause and effect are reasonable. For a moment, if the co-emergent ones are possible, how can they be possible to each other? It is for that very reason. If that is the case, then if the form made by cause does not exist, it does not arise, and the mutual and the arising ones also become that together, and the conforming nature of the mind and so on also become that with the mind and so on. Then, just as the three sprouts abide by each other's strength, the co-emergent ones become the cause and effect. For a moment, do these abide by the power of co-emergence? Or is it that they arise in that way due to the power of the previous collection, this should be examined. In addition, there is also a thread or a nail or a support, which also exists slightly. For this, there are other equal causes and so on, so the cause of co-emergence is established. What is the equal cause?

The co-equal cause is that which is similar. Similar dharmas are the co-equal cause of similar dharmas. For example, the five aggregates of virtue are the cause of mutual virtues. Those with afflictions are the cause of those with afflictions. The unspecified are the cause of the unspecified. Others say that the unspecified form is the cause of the five, but the four are not the cause of form, because they are inferior and weak. The subtle is the cause of the ten states, such as the subtle. The coarse, etc., are the cause of the coarse, etc., by subtracting one each from one homogeneous group. In other homogeneous groups, all ten states are the cause of the ten. For external things, barley is the cause of barley, and rice is the cause of rice, which should be applied extensively. For those who do not consider the co-equal cause of form to be form, this assertion is detrimental to the argument that the past great elements are the cause and master of the future great elements. Are all similar things the co-equal cause of all things? It is said: No. Then what is it like? It is the self-category ground. Because these things have their own category and ground, these things are their own category and ground. There are five
