From that karma, non-manifesting form shows sentient beings arising from similar causes. Furthermore, it arises from the elements of similar causes. Non-manifesting form arises only from similar causes and the elements that have arisen. This is the aspect of the earth for those who are not in equipoise. The elements born from samadhi and the elements of growth arise from non-different entities. That which is born from samadhi is the non-manifesting form of undefiled and undefiled discipline; it arises from the elements born from samadhi, from growth, and from the great elements that have not arisen. Non-different entities are also elements; whatever great elements are the cause, from which the arising of abandoning killing arises, from those alone arises the abandoning of false speech, and so on. Why? Because the elements that follow the mind are non-different entities. The Pratimoksha vows arise from other and other elements, giving rise to seven non-manifesting forms. Manifesting form arises from similar causes; the body is what has arisen. Furthermore, when this manifesting form arises, does it arise by destroying the continuum of the previous form? Or not? What will happen from that? If it arises by destroying, then the interrupted ripening form would also be constant, therefore this would become non-Vaibhashika. Or, if it does not arise by destroying, then how could two forms be established in one collection of elements? At that time, what would be the cause for the arising of manifesting form? Other great elements arising from similar causes would arise. If that is so, then because those great elements are manifest, the limbs and whatever limbs rely on which the manifesting form arises, that limb would become very large. If it is not manifest, then how could it become manifesting form by exhausting the limbs? Because the body has gaps, those have opportunities. Furthermore, that karma is explained as two kinds, three kinds, and five kinds in number, of which non-manifesting form is of two kinds: virtuous and non-virtuous. Non-manifesting form, indeterminate, non-existent. Why?

If so, the mind that is not indicated is weak. Therefore, whatever ceases, it cannot draw the karmic force that is connected to it. Others are of three kinds. Other karmas are good, non-virtuous, and unspecified, of three kinds. What else is that? It is expression and thought. Non-virtue is desire. Non-virtuous karma should be known to exist in the desire realm. It does not exist in other realms, because the roots of non-virtue, as well as shamelessness and lack of shame, have been abandoned. Good and unspecified exist in all realms because they are not obstructed. In this regard, there is no expression in the form realm. Also, the word "also" indicates that it also exists in the desire realm. In the formless realms, it does not exist because there is no arising. Wherever there is activity of body and speech, there is restraint of body and speech. So, will it also be present in this absorption, like the non-outflow expression? No, because it does not belong to the realm. In the formless realm, it is not appropriate for the non-expression of conduct to arise from unequal elements as a cause. Because it turns away from all forms, it cannot generate form in the absorption of the formless realm, because it is separated from the concept of form. The Vaibhashikas say that discipline is the antidote to impure discipline. That impure discipline is also practiced in the desire realm, so the formless realms are far from the desire realm in terms of support, form, object, and antidote. Therefore, these do not have non-expression. If expression has investigation, then expression only exists in two grounds, namely the desire realm and the first dhyana, and it does not exist beyond that. Even in the desire realm, there is no unobscured-unspecified, and the expression of unobscured-unspecified does not exist even in the desire realm, but only in the Brahma world. The Great Brahma also has verbal karma that causes agitation, because he praised himself in order to convey a message to the venerable Ashvajit among his retinue. It is said that beyond that, there is no verbal karma.
