It is to be born into happiness. For those born into special samadhi, there is no joy or happiness, so one should examine the birth of happiness itself. If it is said that the abodes of the gods are twenty-two, what is the distance from the lower to the upper? Although it is not easy to count all of them by the number of yojanas, however, how far is the place and the place below, and from there, how far is it above. Starting from Jambudvipa, whatever is the upper abode, how far is it from there to the lower Jambudvipa, and from there to the other upper abodes is also that far. For example, from here to forty thousand yojanas is the fourth level of the fundamental abode of the Four Great Kings, and from there to the lower Jambudvipa, how far is it to the abode of the Thirty-three Gods above. From there, how far is it to the lower Jambudvipa, and how far is it to the abode of the No-Strife Gods above. From there, how far is it to the lower Jambudvipa, and how far is it to the abode of the Joyful Gods above. In this way, everything should be done in order, from the extremely visible to the lower Jambudvipa, how far is it to the abode of the Akanishtha Gods above. Above that, there is no abode. Therefore, they are called Akanishtha because they are the ultimate. Others say that it is the beginning and the end, saying that the obstructed is the form that dwells in accumulation, and that it ends here. Furthermore, can those born below see the palaces above from below? Except for magical powers and reliance on others, they cannot see the above. By magical powers or relying on others, that is, those with magical powers, or if they are guided by the gods dwelling there, then the Thirty-three Gods can enter into the No-Strife Gods, and the rest are the same. Those born above can see those who come, but it is not the upper realm, nor is it the upper land, just as touch cannot be touched because it is not an object. Therefore, one cannot come with one's own body. If so, how should it be? It is by the emanation of the lower land. Other schools say that by their intention, they see as if they were dwelling here.

It is said to be like a crow. Again, how much is the measurement of those immeasurable palaces such as the Free from Strife? Some say that the four are as big as the summit of Mount Sumeru. Others say that it is twice the size of the one above. Some say that the first dhyana is as big as the four continents, the second dhyana is as big as a small chiliocosm, the third dhyana is twice as big as a small chiliocosm, and the fourth dhyana is three times as big as a small chiliocosm. Others say that the first dhyana and so on are the size of a thousand, and the fourth dhyana is immeasurable. Again, what is a small chiliocosm? What is a middle chiliocosm? What is a great chiliocosm? The four continents and the sun and moon, Mount Sumeru and the desire gods, a thousand Brahma worlds, a thousand is the general holder. Jambudvipa and Purvavideha, Aparagodaniya and Uttarakuru a thousand, the sun and the moon, a thousand Mount Sumerus, a thousand gods from the retinue of the Four Great Kings to Paranirmitavasavartin, this Brahma world is called a small chiliocosm. That thousand is a middle chiliocosm, it is a middle world realm. Those small chiliocosms, a thousand is a middle chiliocosm. That thousand is a trichiliocosm, those middle chiliocosms, a thousand is a great trichiliocosm, all of this, together they are destroyed and together they arise. Together they are destroyed and together they arise, arising is formation, it will be explained below. Again, just as the measurements of the vessels are different, are the measurements of the beings who dwell there also different? It is said that there are. Among them, the measurement of the people of Jambudvipa, four and a half cubits and four cubits. The people of Jambudvipa are mostly four and a half cubits, some are four cubits. Purvavideha and Aparagodaniya and Uttarakuru, it is said that they increase by two times. The people of Purvavideha and the people of Aparagodaniya and the people of Uttarakuru, are successively eight cubits and ten
