If one is born from harmless actions, does one experience the maturation of harmful actions? It is said: One does experience it. For example, some humans and some gods who dwell in the desire realm, due to the maturation of harmful actions, obtain short lives, ugliness, low birth, meager possessions, a reputation for being insignificant, and words that are not respected. If one is born from harmless actions, does one experience the maturation of both harmful and harmless actions? It is said: One does experience it. For example, some humans and some gods who dwell in the desire realm, due to the maturation of harmful actions, obtain short lives, ugliness, and low birth, but due to the maturation of blameless actions, they obtain great possessions, a great reputation, and words that are respected.
