Oh! Just like the wrong view to be abandoned by seeing the cessation associated with desire, doubt and ignorance also have the same object, which is without outflows. Why is it said that the clinging to views to be abandoned by seeing the cessation associated with desire is a non-restraint that is not properly restrained? It is said: Because of being completely entangled, the object is also not properly restrained; because it has not been abandoned, it is said that the dharmas to be abandoned by seeing the cessation associated with desire are also not properly restrained. Just like the clinging to views to be abandoned by seeing the cessation associated with desire, those that take as their object defiled desire, anger, pride, and ignorance are also the same. Just like what is to be abandoned by seeing cessation, those to be abandoned by seeing the path are also the same, and it should be declared that taking ethics and asceticism as supreme. Why is it said that the desire to be abandoned by cultivating what is associated with desire is a non-restraint that is not properly restrained? It is said: Because of being completely entangled, the object is also not properly restrained; because it has not been abandoned, it is said that the dharmas to be abandoned by cultivating what is associated with desire are also not properly restrained. Just like the desire to be abandoned by cultivating what is associated with desire, anger, pride, and ignorance are also the same. Just like those associated with desire, those associated with form and formlessness should also be declared in the same way. The seventh chapter of Karma Differentiation is completed. Summary: Non-restraint that is not properly restrained, thirty-six types have been declared, from the perspective of realms, there are three types of non-restraint, among the six non-associated with mind, the last non-restraints, similarly, in the aspect of white dharmas, it should also be expanded and applied. Starting from the three roots, questions should also be asked accordingly. What are the thirty-six types of non-restraint that are not properly restrained? It is said: There are ten to be abandoned by seeing suffering, seven to be abandoned by seeing arising, and to be abandoned by seeing cessation

There are eight things to be abandoned by seeing the four truths and the path, and four things to be abandoned by meditation. What are the ten non-restraints that are not truly restrained by seeing suffering? Answer: The view of the aggregates, the view of holding to extremes, the wrong view to be abandoned by seeing suffering, the view of holding to views as supreme, the holding to morality and asceticism as supreme, doubt, attachment, anger, pride, and ignorance. What are the seven non-restraints that are not truly restrained by seeing the origin? Answer: The wrong view to be abandoned by seeing the origin, the view of holding to views as supreme, doubt, attachment, anger, pride, and ignorance. The things to be abandoned by seeing cessation are also the same. What are the eight non-restraints that are not truly restrained by seeing the path? Answer: The wrong view to be abandoned by seeing the path, the view of holding to views as supreme, the holding to morality and asceticism as supreme, doubt, attachment, anger, pride, and ignorance. What are the four non-restraints that are not truly restrained by meditation? Answer: The attachment, anger, pride, and ignorance to be abandoned by meditation. Why is the view of the aggregates called a non-restraint that is not truly restrained? Answer: Because it is completely entangled, it is not truly restrained in its object, and because it is not abandoned, it is not truly restrained in all the desire realm. The view of holding to extremes, the wrong view to be abandoned by seeing suffering, the view of holding to views as supreme, the holding to morality and asceticism as supreme, doubt, and universally present ignorance are also the same. Why is the attachment to be abandoned by seeing suffering called a non-restraint that is not truly restrained? Answer: Because it is completely entangled, it is not truly restrained in its object, and because it is not abandoned, it is not truly restrained in the dharmas to be abandoned by seeing suffering. Seeing suffering
