Regarding their suffering, cherishing, joy, and affection, because their hearts are filled with torment and anger, they think like this: 'Let them be unable to endure for long, let them be unhappy in their hearts, let them show displeasure.' Like this, engaging in sexual misconduct with that person's desires, such behavior arises from hatred. What is sexual misconduct arising from ignorance like? It is said: For example, some Brahmins say this: 'A Brahmin's wife is of four kinds: Brahmin woman, Kshatriya woman, Vaishya woman, Shudra woman.' A Kshatriya's wife is of three kinds: Kshatriya woman, Vaishya woman, Shudra woman. A Vaishya's wife is of two kinds: Vaishya woman, Shudra woman. A Shudra's wife is of one kind: Shudra woman.' Like this they say. In the West, there are some called 'mouth-born Brahmins,' and they say this: 'Whether it is the desire of a mother, daughter, sister, or friend, relative, or elder, engaging in sexual misconduct with these, there is no sin greater than that.' Why is that? It is said: 'A woman is like cooked rice. For example, cooked rice is something to be enjoyed, similarly, a woman is something for sexual intercourse. A woman is like a mortar, for example, a mortar is for pounding grain, similarly, a woman is something for sexual intercourse. A woman is like a road, for example, a road is for coming and going, similarly, a woman is something for sexual intercourse. A woman is like a river crossing, for example, a river crossing is for bathing and other activities, similarly, a woman is something for sexual intercourse. A woman is like flowers and fruits, for example, flowers and fruits are something to be enjoyed, similarly, a woman is something for sexual intercourse.' Like this they say. There are also those who say this: 'For people'

There is no sexual misconduct with desire. What is the reason for that? The answer is: Because people do not have different people. They say that, thinking that the karma will not bring anything, and thinking that there is no result. Thinking like this, saying like this: This karma does not exist. The fruit of this karma will not ripen. Saying like that is sexual misconduct arising from ignorance. There are three kinds of lying: arising from attachment, arising from hatred, and arising from ignorance. What is lying arising from attachment? The answer is: For example, here some people, in order to accomplish whatever they want, use lies to deceive others. Even if they don't want it themselves, they will think like this: For all the sentient beings that I love, cherish, like, and satisfy, I hope that those things can be needed, possessed, and enjoyed. For their sake, they knowingly use lies to deceive others. Or, others say to him: You come over and deceive this person named so-and-so with lies, and I will give you this and this, I will do this and this. He, in order to covet those enjoyments, knowingly uses lies to deceive others. Like this is arising from attachment. What is arising from hatred like? The answer is: For example, here some people, because they have annoyance and anger towards someone, knowingly use lies to deceive him. Even if he does not have annoyance and anger, but because he has annoyance and anger towards everything he loves, cherishes, likes, and satisfies, he will think like this: I will make them unable to endure for a long time, unhappy, and extremely displeased in their hearts. For this purpose, he knowingly uses lies to deceive him. Like this is arising from hatred. What is arising from ignorance like? For example, seeing a deer in a secluded place, the hunter asks him: Have you (seen) a deer?
