and they will be eaten in large quantities. Those creatures will be eaten by many thousands of other creatures, and they will also be eaten by many. No matter which continent they inhabit, there is no opportunity to experience the ripening of sinful and unwholesome deeds. Therefore, in the vast ocean, great beings reside. It is said, 'The great ocean does not dwell together with corpses.' Why does the great ocean not dwell together with corpses? It is said that in the great ocean, there are abodes of nagas who practice purification. If a corpse remains above any naga's abode, then on that very night, it is transferred to the second naga abode. From the second abode, it is transferred to the third abode, and from the third to the fourth, in such a gradual manner, it is moved to the shore and then discarded on the land. Therefore, the great ocean does not dwell together with corpses. It is said, 'No matter how many rivers flow from Jambudvipa, and even if a continuous rain as thick as a chariot axle falls from the sky, the great ocean neither decreases nor increases.' Why is it that no matter how many rivers flow from Jambudvipa, and even if a continuous rain as thick as a chariot axle falls from the sky, the great ocean neither decreases nor increases? It is said that the creatures residing in the vast ocean consume these waters, and the remaining water is exhausted and depleted by the wind and sunlight. Therefore, the great ocean neither decreases nor increases. It is said, 'In the vast ocean, there are creatures of various colors, creatures of various marks, creatures of various shapes, creatures of many colors, creatures of many marks, creatures of many shapes.' Why are there creatures of various colors, creatures of various marks, creatures of various shapes, creatures of many colors, creatures of many marks, creatures of many shapes in the vast ocean? It is said that beings who were once humans, whatever sinful and unwholesome deeds they committed with their bodies, and whatever improper words they spoke with their tongues,

, and such as truly taking, such as truly grasping, after the body is destroyed and dies, they fall into evil destinies and evil paths. They will be born in the hell realms of sentient beings, and even after those sentient beings die and transmigrate from the hell realms, with the remainder of their karma, in the great ocean, they will be born as animals. There, they will become various colors, various signs, various shapes, many colors, many signs, and many shapes. Therefore, in the great ocean, there are creatures of various colors, various signs, various shapes, many colors, many signs, and many shapes. The twelfth section from the great treatise on Abhidharma, the Establishment of Causes. Summary: One becomes and is not two, separated by a wall and entering the earth, water and sky, sun and moon, Brahma's abode, walking, standing, sitting, and lying down. It is said that one becomes many, how does one become many? Answer: Here, a monk, with whatever worldly samadhi, whatever he desires, obtains it as he wishes, obtains it without difficulty, and obtains it without effort, he generates and creates it, truly generates it, truly accomplishes it, and makes it clear. He generates and creates it, truly creates it and truly accomplishes it and makes it clear, like the elephant's body, or the horse's body, or the chariot's body, or the calf's body, or the leader of the herd's body, or the bird's body, or the tree's body, or the wall's body, whatever is desired, manifestly accomplishes the external realm, manifestly enjoys it, manifestly acts, manifestly accomplishes and manifestly enjoys, through the door of manifest action, thus one becomes many. That many become one, it is said, how do many become one? Answer: Here, a monk, with whatever forms, whatever signs, whatever characteristics, like the elephant's body, or the horse's body, or the chariot's body, or the calf's body, or the leader of the herd's body, or the bird's body, or the tree's body, or the wall's body, etc., manifestly appears in the external realm.
