Then, fire arises from below, above, and the four directions, causing those beings to be frightened, terrified, and have their hair stand on end. Then, those beings are frightened, terrified, and despairing, with their hair standing on end, they go into the dense forest. When they have gathered for many hundreds of years, at that time, the fire will thoroughly burn the ground. Having thoroughly burned the ground, it will thoroughly burn the dense forest. As it is said: Those who are accustomed to deceiving others, having gathered together, are thoroughly burned in the Howling Hell, uttering fearful howls. It is also called: Covered by the darkness of wrong views, bound by the bonds of craving, always engaging in base actions, one will be born in the Great Howling Hell. Why is this great hell of beings called the Great Howling Hell? The answer is: From the time beings are born in the Great Howling Hell until they are released from it, the sins of those beings...

It is also said: Having harmed many people, having done the hot action, the evil mind having gone to heat, they experience painful feelings. Why is the great hell called the Hot Hell called the Great Hot Hell? It is said: In the Great Hot Hell, whenever beings are born, from being completely born until they come out, due to the ripening of the sins and non-virtuous actions of those beings, the hell guards of hell seize those beings, and on the iron ground, in a pit that is burning, burning intensely, burning completely intensely, and becoming one burning mass, intensely
