其危害也当宣说，以那些不可爱者，那些花朵，那些果实，那些显现，则有众生大焦热地狱，于彼处痛苦且不可爱，粗糙且炎热，不悦意且能断命，以及其他业之危害，还有许多其他危害。如是说： 不应作而令作， 离间人们之友， 搬弄是非说谎言， 于黑绳狱中生。 如是说。中品经中说： 刀剑长矛及水刀， 指甲短矛与锤子， 斧头利斧与钩刀， 四种器械黑绳狱。 造作三种罪恶业， 未作三种善业者， 恶慧摧毁已消逝， 将受痛苦之感受。 众生大焦热地狱名为合拢压碎，为何众生大焦热地狱名为合拢压碎？答曰：于众生大焦热地狱合拢压碎中，无论何众生已生，完全已生，已出现，完全已出现，已前往，已显现，已产生，彼等众生之罪恶不善业之异熟，乃是铁地，有许多俱卢舍，有许多百俱卢舍，有许多千俱卢舍，有许多百千俱卢舍。其后彼等众生寻求住处，寻求救护，寻求出现之方法，于彼处奔跑，于彼处极奔跑，于彼处完全极奔跑，彼等向彼处一方聚集。 何时许多百，许多千，许多百千聚集之时，彼等安住之上方，将出现铁网，遮蔽彼等众生，极遮蔽，完全极遮蔽。遮蔽已，极遮蔽已，完全极遮蔽已，彼等安住之上方，将出现铁锤，击打彼等众生，极击打，完全极击打。击打已，极击打已，完全极击打已，何时杀害而死亡之时，上方将隐没不见。彼等如是之相。

Having committed three kinds of sinful deeds, Not having done three kinds of virtuous deeds, Evil wisdom destroyed and vanished, One will experience the feeling of suffering. The great hell of sentient beings is called "Gathering and Crushing." Why is the great hell of sentient beings called "Gathering and Crushing"? It is said: In the great hell of sentient beings, Gathering and Crushing, whatever sentient beings are born, completely born, have appeared, completely appeared, have gone, have manifested, have arisen, the ripening of the sinful, unwholesome deeds of those sentient beings is an iron ground with many yojanas, many hundreds of yojanas, many thousands of yojanas, and many hundreds of thousands of yojanas. Then those sentient beings seek a place to dwell, seek refuge, and seek a way to appear. They run there, run very much there, and run completely very much there. They gather in one direction there. At that time, elephants will appear above where they are, trampling those beings, extremely trampling, and completely extremely trampling.
