Done by body, speech, and mind. Alas, my sins are like this: not done by body, speech, and mind. Merit has been done, virtue has been done, refuge has been made from fear and dread, sins have not been done, rudeness has not been done, the beings who have not done malice, thinking that those beings will go to the next life, there will be no regret in the heart. Monks, it is good to die without regret, it is good to pass away, the next life is good, because he practices well in body, practices well in speech and mind, by that cause and that condition, after the body separates and dies, he will go to a good destination, be born among the gods in the noble heavenly realm, this is called the dharmas that will not become harmful. Monks, the dharmas that will become harmful and will not become harmful should be explained, what I said is this explanation. The Blessed One said so, the Sugata said so, and then the Teacher said: Those people who live by lineage, having done these things that will become harmful, what is the destination of the next life, hear from me those destinations of hell. Revival and Black Thread, Destroying Demons and Howling, and Great Torment, and Hot and Extremely Hot. These eight great hells are shown to be difficult to escape, full of those who do rude deeds. Each has sixteen entourages, possessing four sides and four gates, dividing the measure of parts, a series of iron surrounds from all sides, iron covers everyone very much, the iron ground is very hot, burning and possessing splendor, in countless hundreds of thousands of yojanas, flames spread and exist. The strong subduing of stinginess, possessing flames and difficult to approach, those forms that raise hair, terrifying and terrifyingly creating suffering, the upright and those with vows, ascetics and those who eat saliva, those with high feet and upside down, will fall into that hell. Those whose senses have deteriorated are tormented, like fish falling on dry land, like that those who do evil deeds, day and night.

There, one certainly sows evil seeds. That is proclaimed with a great voice. Like an elephant struck by a sharp spear, having committed misdeeds with the body, having committed misdeeds with speech, and having committed misdeeds with the mind, beings are born in the hells. So it is said. Why is the great hell of beings called 'Punarjīvana' (梵文天城体:पुनर्जीवन,梵文罗马拟音:punarjīvana,汉语字面意思:Rebirth)? The answer is: In the great hell of beings, Punarjīvana, whatever beings are born, or have completely arisen, or have arisen, or have completely arisen, or have gone, or have directly realized, or have emerged, the ripening of the sins and non-virtuous deeds of those beings will cause sharp and extremely sharp iron swords that can cut hairs upwards to appear in their hands. Those beings, when one sees another, will mostly harbor hatred and murderous thoughts, and will be close to abiding. For example, when a hunter sees a deer in a secluded place, he mostly harbors hatred and murderous thoughts, and is close to abiding. Similarly, when those beings see one another, they mostly harbor hatred and murderous thoughts, and are close to abiding. They will completely cut and completely pierce one another with those swords, completely chop and completely cleave. Having completely cut and completely pierced, having completely chopped and completely cleaved, when one kills another and dies, they gather in one place. At another time, in the great hell of beings, Punarjīvana, there is also a time when a cool wind blows, and there is also that moment. It is said: Beings, may you be reborn! Beings, may you be reborn! That sound will also be heard, and then those beings will also revive. Then, due to the ripening of the sins and non-virtuous deeds of those beings, iron swords will appear in their hands. Then, when those beings see one another, they will mostly harbor hatred and murderous thoughts, and will be close to abiding. For example, when a hunter sees a deer in a secluded place, he mostly harbors hatred and murderous thoughts, and is close to abiding. When those beings see one another,
