་སྨྲ་བ་སྤང་བར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་ནས་དེ་དག་བརྫུན་དུ་སྨྲ་བ་སྤོང་ངོ༌། །ཚེ་ལོ་བརྒྱ་པའི་མི་བརྫུན་དུ་སྨྲ་བ་སྤོང་བ་དེ་དག་གི་བུ་དང་བུ་མོ་བཙས་པ་རྣམས་ཚེ་ལོ་ཉིས་བརྒྱ་ཐུབ་པར་གྱུར་ཏེ། དེ་དག་ལས་ཁ་ཅིག་ནི་ཚེ་ལོ་ཉིས་བརྒྱ་ལྔ་བཅུ་ཐུབ་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ།། ཚེ་ལོ་ཉིས་བ་རྒྱ་ལྔ་བཅུ་པའི་མི་རྣམས་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་ཀྱེ་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་རྣམས་ཡང་དག་པར་བླངས་པའི་ཕྱིར་ཚེ་ཡང་ནུར་ལ། ཁ་དོག་དང་སྟོབས་དང་བདེ་བ་དང་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་ཀྱང་འཕེལ་བར་སྣང་གི་བདག་ཅག་གིས་ཡང་ལྷག་པར་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་འགའ་ཞིག་ཡང་དག་པར་བླངས་ཏེ་འཁོད་པར་བྱ་ན། བདག་ཅག་གིས་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་གང་ཞིག་ཡང་དག་པར་བླངས་ཏེ་འཁོད་པར་བྱ་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་སོ། །དེ་དག་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་ཀྱེ་བདག་ཅག་ནི་ཕྲ་མ་ཅན་ཡིན་གྱི། བདག་ཅག་གིས་ཕྲ་མ་སྤང་བར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་ནས་དེ་དག་ཕྲ་མ་སྤོང་ངོ༌། །ཚེ་ལོ་ཉིས་བརྒྱ་ལྔ་བཅུ་པའི་མི་ཕྲ་མ་སྤོང་བ་དེ་དག་གི་བུ་དང་བུ་མོ་ བཙས་པ་རྣམས་ཚེ་ལོ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཐུབ་པར་གྱུར་ཏེ། ཚེ་ལོ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་པའི་མི་རྣམས་ཀྱེ་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་རྣམས་ཡང་དག་པར་བླངས་པའི་ཕྱིར་ཚེ་ཡང་ནུར་ལ། ཁ་དོག་དང་སྟོབས་དང་བདེ་བ་དང་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་ཀྱང་འཕེལ་བར་སྣང་གི །བདག་ཅག་གིས་ཡང་ལྷག་པར་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་འགའ་ཞིག་ཡང་དག་པར་བླངས་ཏེ་འཁོད་པར་བྱ་ན། བདག་ཅག་གིས་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་གང་ཞིག་ཡང་དག་པར་བླངས་ཏེ་འཁོད་པར་བྱ་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་སོ། །དེ་དག་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་ཀྱེ་བདག་ཅག་ནི་ཚིག་རྩུབ་པོ་སྨྲ་བ་ཡིན་གྱི། བདག་ཅག་གིས་ཚིག་རྩུབ་པོ་སྤང་བར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་ནས་དེ་དག་ཚིག་རྩུབ་པོ་སྤོང་ངོ༌། །ཚེ་ལོ་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་པའི་མི་ཚིག་རྩུབ་པོ་སྤོང་བ་དེ་དག་གི་བུ་དང་བུ་མོ་བཙས་པ་རྣམས་ཚེ་ལོ་སྟོང་ཐུབ་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །ཚེ་ལོ་སྟོང་ཐུབ་པའི་མི་རྣམས་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་ཀྱེ་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་རྣམས་ཡང་དག་པར་བླངས་པའི་ཕྱིར་ཚེ་ཡང་ནུར་ལ། ཁ་དོག་དང་སྟོབས་དང་བདེ་བ་དང་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་དག་ཀྱང་འཕེལ་བར་སྣང་གི །བདག་ཅག་གིས་ཡང་ལྷག་པར་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་འགའ་ཞིག་ཡང་དག་པར་བླངས་ཏེ་འཁོད་པར་བྱ་ན། བདག་ཅག་གིས་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་གང་ཞིག་ཡང་དག་པར་བླངས་ཏེ་འཁོད་པར་བྱ་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་སོ། །དེ་དག་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་ཀྱེ་བདག་ཅག་ནི་ཚིག་འཁྱལ་པ་ཅན་ཡིན་གྱི། བདག་ཅག་གིས་ཚིག་འཁྱལ་པ་སྤོང་ངོ༌། །ཚེ་ལོ་སྟོང་པའི་མི་ཚིག་འཁྱལ་པ་སྤོང་བ་དེ་དག་གི་བུ་དང་བུ་མོ་བཅས་པ་རྣམས་ཚེ་ལོ་ཉིས་སྟོང་ཐུབ་པར་འགྱུར་ཏེ། དེ་དག་ལས་ཁ་ཅིག་ནི་ཚེ་ལོ་ཉིས་སྟོང་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་ཐུབ་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །ཚེ་ལོ་ཉིས་སྟོང་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་པའི་མི་རྣམས་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་ཀྱེ་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་རྣམས་ཡང་དག་པར་བླངས་པའི་ཕྱིར་ཚེ་ཡང་ནུར་ལ། ཁ་དོག་དང་སྟོབས་དང་བདེ་བ་དང་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་དག་ཀྱང་འཕེལ་བར་སྣང་གི །བདག་ཅག་གིས་ཡང་ལྷག་པར་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་འགའ་ཞིག་ཡང་དག་པར་བླངས་ཏེ་འཁོད་པར་བྱ་ན། བདག་ཅག་གིས་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་གང་ཞིག་ཡང་དག་པར་བླངས་ཏེ་འཁོད་པར་བྱ་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་སོ། །དེ་དག་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་ཀྱེ་བདག་ཅག་ནི་བརྣབ་སེམས་ཅན་ཡིན་གྱི། བདག་ཅག་གིས་བརྣབ་སེམས་སྤང་བར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་ནས་དེ་དག་བརྣབས་སེམས་སྤོང་ངོ༌། །ཚེ་ལོ་ཉིས་སྟོང་ལྔ་བརྒྱ་བའི་མི་བརྣབ་སེམས་ སྤོང་བ་དེ་དག་གི་བུ་དང་བུ་མོ་བཙས་པ་རྣམས་ཚེ་ལོ་ལྔ་སྟོང་ཐུབ་པར་འགྱུར་ཏེ། ཚེ་ལོ་ལྔ་སྟོང་པའི་མི་རྣམས་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་ཀྱེ་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་རྣམས་ཡང་དག་པར་བླངས་པའི་ཕྱིར་ཚེ་ཡང་ནུར་ལ། ཁ་དོག་དང་སྟོབས་དང་བདེ་བ་དང༌། ལོངས་སྤྱོད་དག་ཀྱང་འཕེལ་བར་སྣང་གི །བདག་ཅག་གིས་ཡང་ལྷག་པར་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་འགའ་ཞིག་ཡང་དག་པར་བླངས་ཏེ་འགོད་པར་བྱ་ན། བདག་ཅག་གིས་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་གང་ཞིག་ཡང་དག་པར་བླངས་ཏེ་འཁོད་པར་བྱ་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་སོ། །དེ་དག་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་ཀྱེ་བདག་ཅག་ནི་གནོད་སེམས་ཅན་ཡིན་གྱི། བདག་གིས་གནོད་སེམས་སྤང་བར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་ནས་དེ་དག་གནོད་སེམས་སྤོང་ངོ༌། །ཚེ་ལོ་ལྔ་སྟོང་པའི་མི་གནོད་སེམས་སྤོང་བ་དེ་དག་གི་བུ་དང་བུ་མོ་བཙས་པ་རྣམས་ཚེ་ལོ་ཁྲི་ཐུབ་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ།། །།འཇིག་རྟེན་གཞག་པ། བམ་པོ་དྲུག་པ། ཚེ་ལོ་ཁྲི་པའི་མི་རྣམས་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་ཀྱེ་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་རྣམས་ཡང་དག་པར་བླངས་པའི་ཕྱིར་ཚེ་ཡང་ནུར་ལ། ཁ་དོག་དང་སྟོབས་དང་བདེ་བ་དང༌། ལོངས་སྤྱོད་དག་ཀྱང་འཕེལ་བར་སྣང་གི །བདག་ཅག་གིས་ཡང་ལྷག་པར་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་འགའ་ཞིག་ཡང་དག་པར་བླངས་ཏེ་འཁོད་པར་བྱ་ན། བདག་ཅག་གིས་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་གང་ཞིག་ཡང་དག་པར་བླངས་ཏེ་འཁོད་པར་བྱ་སྙམ་དུ་སེམས་སོ། །དེ་དག་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་བདག་ཅག་ནི་ལོག་པར་ལྟ་བ་ཅན་ཡིན་གྱི། བདག་གིས་ལོག་པར་ལྟ་བ་སྤང་བར་བྱའོ་ཞེས་ནས་དེ་དག་ལོག་པར་ལྟ་བ་སྤོང་ངོ༌། །ཚེ་ལོ་ཁྲི་པའི་མི་ལོག་པར་ལྟ་བ་སྤོང་བ་དེ་དག་གི་བུ་དང་བུ་མོ་བཙས་པ་རྣམས་ཚེ་ལོ་ཉི་ཁྲི་ཐུབ་པར་གྱུར་ཏོ། །ཚེ་ལོ་ཉི་ཁྲི་པའི་མི་རྣམས་འདི་སྙམ་དུ་ཀྱེ་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་རྣམས་ཡང་དག་པར་བླངས་པའི་ཕྱིར་ཚེ་ཡང་ནུར་ལ། ཁ་དོག་དང་སྟོབས་དང་བདེ་བ་དང་ལོངས་སྤྱོད་དག་ཀྱང་འཕེལ་བར་སྣང་གི །བདག་ཅག་གིས་ཡང་ལྷག་པར་དགེ་བའི་ཆོས་འགའ

说谎应当断除，他们就断除了说谎。百岁的人们断除了说谎，他们所生的儿子和女儿都能活到两百岁。他们之中有些人能活到两百五十岁。活到两百五十岁的人们这样想：‘啊！因为我们如实地受持了善法，所以寿命也增长了，容貌、力量、安乐和受用也似乎增长了。我们再更加如实地受持一些善法而安住吧。我们应当如实地受持哪种善法而安住呢？’他们这样想：‘啊！我们是离间者，我们应当断除离间。’他们就断除了离间。活到两百五十岁的人们断除了离间，他们所生的儿子和女儿都能活到五百岁。活到五百岁的人们说：‘啊！因为我们如实地受持了善法，所以寿命也增长了，容貌、力量、安乐和受用也似乎增长了。我们再更加如实地受持一些善法而安住吧。我们应当如实地受持哪种善法而安住呢？’他们这样想：‘啊！我们是说粗恶语者，我们应当断除粗恶语。’他们就断除了粗恶语。活到五百岁的人们断除了粗恶语，他们所生的儿子和女儿都能活到一千岁。活到一千岁的人们这样想：‘啊！因为我们如实地受持了善法，所以寿命也增长了，容貌、力量、安乐和受用也似乎增长了。我们再更加如实地受持一些善法而安住吧。我们应当如实地受持哪种善法而安住呢？’他们这样想：‘啊！我们是绮语者，我们应当断除绮语。’活到一千岁的人们断除了绮语，他们所生的儿子和女儿都能活到两千岁。他们之中有些人能活到两千五百岁。

They should abandon speaking falsehoods, and so they abandon speaking falsehoods. The sons and daughters born to those people who were a hundred years old and abandoned speaking falsehoods lived to be two hundred years old. Some of them lived to be two hundred and fifty years old. Those people who were two hundred and fifty years old thought, 'Alas! Because we have properly taken up virtuous dharmas, our lives have lengthened, and our appearance, strength, happiness, and possessions seem to have increased. Let us properly take up and abide in some more virtuous dharmas. What virtuous dharmas should we properly take up and abide in?' They thought, 'Alas! We are divisive, we should abandon divisiveness.' And so they abandoned divisiveness. The sons and daughters born to those people who were two hundred and fifty years old and abandoned divisiveness lived to be five hundred years old. Those people who were five hundred years old said, 'Alas! Because we have properly taken up virtuous dharmas, our lives have lengthened, and our appearance, strength, happiness, and possessions seem to have increased. Let us properly take up and abide in some more virtuous dharmas. What virtuous dharmas should we properly take up and abide in?' They thought, 'Alas! We are speakers of harsh words, we should abandon harsh words.' And so they abandoned harsh words. The sons and daughters born to those people who were five hundred years old and abandoned harsh words lived to be a thousand years old. Those people who were a thousand years old thought, 'Alas! Because we have properly taken up virtuous dharmas, our lives have lengthened, and our appearance, strength, happiness, and possessions seem to have increased. Let us properly take up and abide in some more virtuous dharmas. What virtuous dharmas should we properly take up and abide in?' They thought, 'Alas! We are speakers of frivolous talk, we should abandon frivolous talk.' The sons and daughters born to those people who were a thousand years old and abandoned frivolous talk lived to be two thousand years old. Some of them lived to be two thousand five hundred years old.

People with a lifespan of two thousand five hundred years thought, 'Ah! Because we have truly embraced virtuous practices, our lifespans have increased, and our appearance, strength, happiness, and possessions also seem to be increasing. We should further embrace some virtuous practices and abide in them. What virtuous practices should we truly embrace and abide in?' They thought, 'Ah! We are greedy, we should abandon greed.' Having said this, they abandoned greed. The sons and daughters born to those people with a lifespan of two thousand five hundred years who abandoned greed would have a lifespan of five thousand years. People with a lifespan of five thousand years thought, 'Ah! Because we have truly embraced virtuous practices, our lifespans have increased, and our appearance, strength, happiness, and possessions also seem to be increasing. We should further embrace some virtuous practices and abide in them. What virtuous practices should we truly embrace and abide in?' They thought, 'Ah! We are malicious, we should abandon malice.' Having said this, they abandoned malice. The sons and daughters born to those people with a lifespan of five thousand years who abandoned malice would have a lifespan of ten thousand years. Because we have truly embraced virtuous practices, our lifespans have increased, and our appearance, strength, happiness, and possessions also seem to be increasing. We should further embrace some virtuous practices and abide in them. What virtuous practices should we truly embrace and abide in?' They thought, 'We are holders of wrong views, we should abandon wrong views.' Having said this, they abandoned wrong views. The sons and daughters born to those people with a lifespan of ten thousand years who abandoned wrong views would have a lifespan of twenty thousand years. People with a lifespan of twenty thousand years thought, 'Ah! Because we have truly embraced virtuous practices, our lifespans have increased, and our appearance, strength, happiness, and possessions also seem to be increasing.
