Because it is not established by other things, it cannot be false. There is nothing that can establish it, because there is no difference, and it would fall into the fault of being infinite. Therefore, this manifestation is a direct valid cognition (pramana) because it is not confused about its own nature. Other things are confused, like the appearance of a mass of hair in the sky. If someone says that blue and other manifestations are of one nature, then blue and yellow and other characteristics appear mutually exclusive, so they are not one. Because its nature contradicts one manifestation, it is also not many. If someone says that blue and other things are one as they are experienced, because they are experienced together, then this is not so, because it would become saying that different is not different. If someone says that because it is the nature of that, the manifestation is also different, then, since they each experience their own nature separately, and there is no experience together, it would fall into the fault that one does not experience all. Therefore, blue and other things are neither one nor many, like a mass of hair in the sky. That meaning is: Like an image in a mirror, Neither one nor different, Although it appears, it does not exist, So is the nature of all things. The so-called "completely abandoned" means that it does not exist in the nature of one and many. Like this, are blue and other things different from manifestation? Or are they not different? If they are said to be different, then it will not appear. If it is said that they are not different, then they are the nature of manifestation, so they will become one, or, since it is no different from them, many cannot become one, which has already been said. As the saying goes, "mirror image," etc., here, the so-called one and other refer to different and non-different. Some Yogachara and Madhyamaka scholars who advocate that consciousness has aspects say that if blue manifestation becomes false and non-false, then because of self-contradiction, it cannot become its nature. If it is not its nature, blue and other things will not appear, but blue and other things are manifestation. If you say so, then it is either not fabricated or becomes a thing.

Because it is none other than the clarity of transformation. Some say that blue and so on are not adorned, or will become real. According to their view, all clarity experiences its own nature without being inverted, so there will be no illusion at all. Therefore, all sentient beings will be permanently liberated and become perfectly enlightened Buddhas. If it is said that the appearance of the mind is not false because it does not contradict the self-characteristics of blue and so on, but the external blue and so on are false, because they cling to their own appearance, considering what is not real as real, then, since it is clinging to its own appearance, it will cling to knowledge itself in all cases, not to things, because it is not a thing. If it is said that it is an illusion precisely because of this, then the illusion itself should be examined. If it is said to be for things, then its meaning will exist in all cases, so it will not cling to meaningless things. Therefore, it is neither clinging to things nor knowledge. Therefore, the delusion of the mind is only established as it is said, not as it really is. If it is said that because it is inseparable from clarity, the false appearance will also become a real thing, then if this reason is inseparable from the nature of the real thing, then this reason will not be established. If only inseparability is the reason, then it is uncertain, because there is a reason without it in the grasped and the grasper and so on. Yogacharas and Madhyamikas who speak of no appearance say that the self of discrimination is not a real thing. According to their view, direct perception is separated from the discrimination of the first moment, and because there is no inference, this appearance cannot be completely denied. Some Madhyamikas say that what is called in the world is conventional truth, and the external object is also called in the world, so like mind and mental factors, it also exists as conventional truth. Mind and mental factors are illusions, because they contradict their own awareness, just as a sword blade cannot cut itself. Other awareness is also just delusion.
