Just as when one takes one's own raw silk thread and has it woven by a weaver who is not a close relative for the sake of (one's own) affairs, it is the same. For the sake of others, one should also prepare hundreds of beds of Monda silk and hundreds of spreads. One should also possess more than hundreds of thousands of millions of gold and silver. A Bodhisattva who abides in the precepts of the Bodhisattva, should not learn the same as those Hearers who have few affairs, few tasks, and narrow minds, and who have established precepts based on that. If a monk goes to the house of a householder who is not a close relative, or to the residence of the householder's wife, and asks for clothes, he commits a pācattika offense, etc. Those who abide in the two vows (Prātimokṣa and Bodhisattva vows) should understand that they should abandon the benefit of others and focus on their own benefit. If a Bodhisattva, motivated by the benefit of sentient beings, always possesses a mind of vexation and a mind of anger, and has few affairs, few tasks, and a narrow mind, it will be with faults and contradictions, and will become a fault of affliction. If one has few affairs, few tasks, and a narrow mind due to laziness and sloth, it will be with faults and contradictions, but it will not become a fault of affliction. The second fascicle ends. If one is compassionate, there is no non-virtue. If a Bodhisattva skillfully uses such naturally blameworthy things, it will not be a fault, and many merits will also increase. For example, robbers and thieves strive to kill hundreds of thousands of Hearers, Solitary Buddhas, and Bodhisattvas who possess great lives for the sake of a small amount of wealth, and engage in many deeds of uninterrupted karma. The Bodhisattva sees this, and after seeing it, thinks in this way: If I kill that being, I may be born in the hells, but it is better for me to be born in the hells. It would be bad if this being committed deeds of uninterrupted karma and went to the hells. With such a thought, the Bodhisattva

Recognizing it as a mind of virtue or an unspecified mind, cautiously, with only a mind of loving-kindness towards the future, if that being is cleansed, there will be no fault, and much merit will increase. Thus, if a Bodhisattva has power, for those sentient kings or great ministers who are mostly rude and have no compassion for sentient beings, and those who are definitely engaged in harming others, the position they hold and the actions they take will cause non-merit to increase greatly, then with a mind of loving-kindness and a mind of benefit, they should be expelled from the power of the kingdom. Those robbers and thieves who steal the wealth of others, steal a lot of wealth from the Sangha and stupas, take it as their own and want to enjoy it, the Bodhisattva will steal the wealth from them. If it is thought that enjoying wealth will only bring them long-term harm and disadvantage, then it should not be done. For that reason alone, steal it again, and offer what belongs to the Sangha to the Sangha, and offer what belongs to the stupa to the stupa. Those who manage or guard the monastery, waste the wealth of the Sangha or stupa unreasonably, or enjoy it themselves, the Bodhisattva will observe separately, and if it is thought that such behavior and improper enjoyment will only bring them long-term harm and disadvantage, then it should not be done. Take it from the one in power. Thus, through these methods, the Bodhisattva will not be at fault even if he takes without giving, and merit will also increase greatly. For example, a Bodhisattva householder, if he sees a woman without a family tormented by impure conduct, and develops a general feeling of disgust towards someone with a mind of attachment, thinking that it is not good if non-merit increases, and thinking that he can freely apply the roots of virtue to whatever he likes, and completely abandon non-virtue, then based solely on a mind of loving-kindness, if he engages in sexual acts, even if he engages in impure conduct, he will not be at fault, and merit will also increase.
