If asked, what is similar? Everything will become omniscient. Non-deceptive knowledge does not arise solely from things, because dreams are delusive due to being taken as real. Therefore, external objects are actually non-existent. If things are not real, but consciousness appears as things, then how can places and times, etc., appear definitively? Even without things, from beginningless time, the very nature of mind, disturbed by the habits of universal discrimination, will give rise to the knowledge that appearances of definite things such as places and times, just like dreams disturbed by sleep. As it is said in the "Holy Lankavatara Sutra": 'As children discriminate, external objects are not real, but the mind disturbed by habits, arises as appearances of things.' Disturbed by habits means nearly destroyed. If asked, why is the perception of many things by one person the same illusion? Because the near destruction is the same. Just as those whose eyes are similarly afflicted by cataracts see hairs and flesh flies in the same way. Some, even though dreams are not real, appear to be real due to the power of strong habits. Therefore, there is nothing to be grasped, and there is not even a little bit of a grasper. All dharmas are empty, only the consciousness that is empty of grasper and grasped. Furthermore, these eighteen elements are not single, separate things. The realm of form is also not a single thing, because bodies, houses, trees, etc., are separate. The body is also not single, because hands and feet, etc., are separate. The hand is also not single, because fingers, etc., are separate. The finger is also not single, because joints, etc., are separate. The finger is also not single, because joints, etc., are separate. The joint is also not single, because its parts are separate. The parts of the joint, etc., and the constituent parts are also not single. If it is said, will indivisible atoms become single? No, because it always appears coarse, and a single atom is invisible. If someone says that many atoms combine to be seen, then if parts
