Dividing it, there is no essence. Therefore, who will become skilled in the body? Thus it is said. The three realms are not one, possessing vessel and sentient beings. Dividing each part, it is inconceivable. There is nothing on the finest dust. Therefore, outer objects are not separate from one and many. This should also be contemplated. Furthermore, after that, I am the one with fruit. With all the virtues of the world, the rain of meditative virtue does not fall. Therefore, I am the one who transforms the breath. This should also be contemplated, this is also the preliminary. Among them, what is the object of calm abiding? It is the mind's discernment and, samadhi and, mental events that become the object of other virtues. What is the method of abandoning the object? It is with what mind one dwells steadily on its aspect. The summary is: preliminary, friend, time, and view, general and specific, the four objects, characteristics, other objects, abandonment and praise, bondage and refutation, complete gathering. Among them, there are also those who hold the mind with the preliminary, because whoever uses the preliminary well, becomes focused on this. There are also those who hold the mind with the distinction of friends, when what object becomes the object of samadhi, the mind is well established by mental events such as mindfulness. There are also those who hold the mind with the distinction of time, where time dwells well, such as starting from one-sixth of an hour. Furthermore, there are also those who hold the mind with the distinction of seeing, in the realm of desired activity, whatever transforms well, later becomes the object by the power of previous seeing. There are also those who hold the mind in general with the general object, with what samadhi takes everything such as the body as an object, everything becomes clear. There are also those who hold the mind in the specific with the general object, by focusing on the general, whatever becomes clear becomes focused. There are also those who hold the mind in the general with the specific object, by holding the mind on one that has become easy, later others become clear. There are also those who hold the mind in the specific with the specific object, whatever is focused on, that itself becomes clear. There are also those who hold the mind with characteristics, in whatever vajra and jewel and, wheel etc., the ornament is clear, therefore it transforms into that. With other objects

There are also mind-holdings in other places. Like this, the three realms are transformed by purity, and the self is transformed by purity, which is the power of purity. To be transformed by being free from desire and hatred is to be transformed by abandonment. The order of the wind going upwards, the nostrils going to the right, and going to the left, and so on, and learning in the heart, navel, and secret place is to hold after taming. There are also mind-holdings with the distinction of giving. If it becomes clear, then it will become completely clear by giving. There are also mind-holdings with the distinction of universal praise. If it becomes sunken, then it will become clear by praising the mind. There are also mind-holdings with deep binding. If the mind becomes scattered, then with what binding will it become clear? There are also mind-holdings with refutation. Abandoning the knowledge of faults in worldly affairs, the mind becomes focused. There are also mind-holdings with complete accumulation. With the power of good deeds such as prostrating and offering to all the Buddhas, what is the object that becomes clear? Furthermore: color, shape, number, and size, and completeness, are all accomplished by this. Next, the ritual to be followed will be explained. The verse is as follows: Experience and contemplate that object, sinking and scattering contemplate dwelling, self-joy, dedication, rejoicing, etc., body, speech, experience, view, this is what follows. Among them, what is the contemplation of experience? That is, contemplating how my clarity and completeness abide. Among them, what is the contemplation of the object? That is, contemplating with a mind with afflictions, or with another mind. How to contemplate sinking? That is, the mind is in a dull state, or as if suppressed by sleep, or in a state where meditation and sleep are indistinguishable. How to contemplate scattering? That is, the mind abides in dualistic grasping, and is extremely scattered in the realm of afflictions. Among them, what is dwelling? That is, tasting the flavor, and knowing peace. What is self-joy like? That is, my meditation is supreme. This is the right thought. What is dedication like? That is, with this root of virtue of meditation, may all beings become Buddhas.
