For this reason, it is said, "What is said in the mind," and so on. Because it is easy to understand, it is not explained. In order to show the self-nature of what is said, it is said, "What is said is to show the meaning," which is a synonym for "the meaning of the mind is said." If someone thinks, how can mind, etc., be its self-nature? It is said, "The difference between mind and wisdom," and so on. Like this, mind is the self-nature that makes the mind completely waver, while wisdom is entering the form of distinguishing between merits and faults. Because the mind enters relying on these two, therefore, sometimes distinction is applied to mind and mind, that is, at any time it is not clearly distinguished. Sometimes it is applied to wisdom and mind, that is, when it is clearly distinguished. In order to make other explanations for this itself, or it is said, "Only mind and wisdom both," and so on. Or distinction should only be applied to mind and wisdom both, not to mind. Like this, relying on wisdom and mind, the mind will enter into the form of clearly distinguishing and not clearly distinguishing. In order to show the different names of this, it is said, "That is the rough mind," because it is easy to understand, it is not explained. If someone thinks, what is "rough"? It is said, "Rough is general," and so on. General is rough itself. Like this, it is only generally searching for things, not particularly searching. In order to show this reason to others as well, it is said, "This reason is," and so on. In order to show that itself, it is said, "Reflection is also mind," and so on. Like this, reflection is also the self-nature of the difference between wisdom and mind, it is the saying of the mind in the form of distinguishing and thinking. If someone thinks, why is distinguishing and thinking called reflection? It is said, "The saying of the mind that distinguishes and thinks itself," and so on. Like this, for the meaning that was previously understood, entering the form of reflecting 'this is' is reflection. Therefore, reflection is called the subtle mind. In order to show the function of these two, it is said, "These two are abiding in contact," and so on.

Thoughts and so on about manifestation are the causes that abide in contact. Thoughts and so on about desire are the causes that do not abide in contact. If these two are both the nature of wisdom and mind, why are they explained separately? These two are said to be coarse and fine, and so on. Thus, these two are distinguished as coarse and fine, therefore they are explained separately. What is the meaning of what is said, "Two, two kinds"? It is said, "Two, two kinds." In order to refute it, it is said, "Two, second, two," which is a synonym for "second, two kinds." If you want to know what those two are, it is said, "They are," and so on. Regret and sleep are one second. Thought and examination are one second. In order to show that these are two kinds, it is said that these four dharmas are two kinds, namely, afflicted and non-afflicted. Because it is easy to understand, it is not explained. If you want to know which are afflicted and which are non-afflicted, it is said, "Not having done unwholesome deeds," and so on. Not having killed that being, giving alms, giving alms, thinking, "I have done something bad," and thus generating remorse, that is afflicted regret. The opposite of that should be known as non-afflicted regret. The two are also either associated with an afflicted mind or driven by an afflicted mind, that is afflicted. The opposite of that should be known as non-afflicted. Similarly, thought is also, thoughts and so on about desire, those are afflicted. Thoughts and so on about manifestation, those are non-afflicted. Similarly, examination is also, examining methods to harm others, that is afflicted. Examining methods to benefit others, that is non-afflicted. If you want to know which of these is a near affliction, it is said, "Regarding regret and sleep," and so on, because it is easy to understand, it is not explained. In order to summarize all the meanings of the detailed explanation.
