Furthermore, regarding the focus of the mind, do not be too agitated, nor too dejected, but remain in equanimity. Among these, the phrase "Hold onto the sign" is to apply to the cause of non-forgetfulness. Therefore, the two phrases, "Do not be arrogant, nor be heedless," are to apply to the cause of being free from all afflictions. The cause of non-forgetfulness is holding onto the sign, which is the equanimity of the mind; its cause of non-forgetfulness is holding onto the sign. And that sign is only the direct experience of meditators. The cause of being free from all afflictions is the absence of pride, because it will not be filled with equanimity. Moreover, be mindful, because you will not taste the flavor. Therefore, the meaning of the phrase "Do not be arrogant, nor be heedless," as the teaching that has been spoken, is the antidote for meditators who are strongly attached to pride and craving, in order. How so? For the antidote to meditators who are strongly attached to pride, the teaching is "Do not be arrogant." For the antidote to meditators who are strongly attached to craving, the teaching is "Do not be heedless." Why is it that the teachings are given more extensively for the antidote to meditators who are strongly attached to views and meditators who are strongly attached to doubt? Because in order to see the truth, it is necessary to understand things extensively. The word "likewise" is a collective term for both views and doubt. Among these, meditators who are strongly attached to pride become conceited because of meditation. Meditators who are strongly attached to craving taste the flavor of meditation. Meditators who are strongly attached to views, relying on meditation, develop views of permanence, and so on. Meditators who are strongly attached to doubt, relying on meditation, doubt, "Is this the path to liberation? Or is it another path?" "Did I exist in the past? Or did I not exist?" and so on. These situations in which afflictions arise only occur to those who enter into meditation. Meditators who are strongly attached to pride

What is the meaning from "thus" to "meditation with great doubt"? Great attachment means that one meditates on this with an attitude of increasing attachment, so this is a meditator with great attachment. Or, that is both great attachment and meditation, so it is a meditator with great attachment. The same should be understood for the term "meditator with great doubt." The Blessed One saw from afar a large tree burning, burning fiercely, spreading everywhere, the flames becoming one, burning brightly, which is a fragment from the sutras. It should be connected in order, "burning brightly" means the state of being immovable. Monks, the unlearned common people regard these five aggregates as permanent and stable, and truly follow and observe them. Happiness, freedom from illness, and self and what belongs to self should be connected as following and observing, which is a fragment from the sutras. There, "universal delusion" means that one thinks that the five aggregates of grasping do not possess the characteristics of conditioned phenomena, such as arising and ceasing. Thus, being universally deluded, even to the point of thinking that oneself is not self and is empty of self and others, such universal delusion should be understood as observing permanence and so on in order. If the five aggregates of grasping possess the characteristics of arising and ceasing, then such universal delusion is to truly follow and observe permanence in them, even to the point of being empty of self and others. Such universal delusion is to truly follow and observe what belongs to self. Permanence, happiness, and self are all inverted, and it should be understood that they are fully explained through two and two views. How is it done? By observing permanence and stability, the inversion of permanence in the five aggregates of grasping is fully explained. By observing happiness and freedom from illness, the inversion of happiness in the five aggregates of grasping is explained.

It should be understood as such. With the view of self and the thought of self, it should be understood that the five aggregates of grasping are completely shown to be inverted as self. Pretending, flattering, deceiving, measuring with gain, and wanting to gain with gain, etc., are sections of the Sutra Pitaka. How can one show frugality in using things? It is by not taking special gains, and by using and not using inferior and exquisite things. That is, because one uses inferior foods, etc., and does not use exquisite foods, etc. The one who speaks the Dharma is the one who teaches the Dharma of the Sutra Pitaka, etc. As for "showing the cause of harm," harm is harm. Its cause is the cause of harm, which is the change of the body. Since harm is a non-material dharma, it cannot be shown in other ways, so it shows the body changing due to wind, etc. "Showing the cause of poverty" means showing old shoes, boots, etc. Praising the cause of reflection with words means praising the cause of reflection with words, such as the merits of clothes and scriptures, etc. Reproaching those who do not give alms means reproaching those who do not give alms. Reproaching those who give alms to others Reproaching means reproaching those who give alms to others. "Wanting to do" is a synonym for "wanting to accomplish." As for "one," in the extensive explanation, one is of the body, which is pretending. The second is of language, which is flattery. The rest, such as deception and other wrong livelihoods, are of body and language. How is it done? For the time being, in terms of the body, it is deception itself. Because with the intention of seeking gain, the body shows the cause of harm, and shows the cause of poverty. In terms of language, it is praising the cause of reflection. Measuring with gain is also the same, showing three ways with language. The body also only initiates at the beginning, and then does not repeat, but sits in front. Wanting to gain with gain through wrong livelihood is also the same, in terms of the body, it is as stated before, in terms of language
