This is connected with verses, which is the extensive declaration of the name "That." In that, one knows the existent as existent, and the non-existent as non-existent. Why? Because of emptiness, these two are because of the samadhi of emptiness, this is the concluding word. Having known thus, the two with superior and unsurpassed wisdom. The two of wishlessness and signlessness are with superior and unsurpassed wisdom, this is the concluding word. How is it in what exists? It is conditioned and unconditioned. Conditioned is with superior, unconditioned is unsurpassed. That is why, why does one first know the existent as existent and the non-existent as non-existent through emptiness? Then, finally, with the two, one knows the existent as with superior and unsurpassed, therefore, the samadhis of emptiness and so on, the order of the samadhis of emptiness, wishlessness, and signlessness. Furthermore, it is said, how are those samadhis of emptiness and so on antidotes, how are they three, and what is the order? The meaning of the phrases of the Sutra section has been explained. The antidotes to those three are the samadhis of emptiness and so on. That is, clinging to self, craving for existence, and not wanting the exhaustion of craving, the antidotes to those three are the samadhis of emptiness and so on. Furthermore, among those phrases of the Sutra section, with which samadhi, how does one know what, and those are the three, and what is the order, that is said. One is with the samadhi of emptiness. Knowing the existent and non-existent is like what has been shown. Two are with wishlessness and signlessness. Knowing the faults of the existent is like what has just been shown. Therefore, because of the cause, it is three. The order of those is first the samadhi of emptiness, then wishlessness, then signlessness, which means the former leads the latter, thus the order is the former samadhi, samadhi

The latter leads to the latter, because of that. The sutra says "non-existence" etc. extensively, therefore, for the non-existent things, the characteristic of selflessness is on that non-existent thing. The so-called "thus" is a particle. Defective things refer to defects such as impermanence. Things with merits refer to things with merits, namely Nirvana. For these three kinds of things, in order to eliminate the attachment to existence, the attachment to merits, and the attachment to non-merits, the samadhi of emptiness and so on are in order. The sutra says that in order to eliminate the attachment to existence for non-existent things, it is the samadhi of emptiness. In order to eliminate the attachment to merits for things with defects, it is the samadhi of no aspiration. In order to eliminate the attachment to non-merits for things with merits, it is the samadhi of no characteristics. Explanation of the logical explanation, the sixth chapter. Monks, because the noble disciples who are endowed with hearing know, realize, contemplate, practice, and understand the arising of the world and the cessation of the world with correct wisdom, this is a section of the sutra. Because it is with joy. Because it is with the joy of wisdom, it is called practicing well, because the meaning of practicing is joy. It is for entering the ultimate truth. It is for realizing the ultimate truth of selflessness, just as the sutra says, the world

For the sake of generating those that have already arisen, it is the same as before. It is said extensively that for the sake of the abiding of those virtuous dharmas that have arisen, not degenerating, perfecting meditation, becoming a field of increase, increasing and expanding, and for the sake of directly seeing with wisdom, one generates aspiration. It is to be understood that these are in order, that is, aspiration and so on are the observers. Because of wanting to abandon and so on, that is, because of wanting to abandon the sinful and non-virtuous dharmas that have arisen, one generates aspiration. One generates aspiration because of wanting not to generate those that have not arisen. Similarly, one generates aspiration because of wanting to generate virtuous dharmas that have not arisen. One generates aspiration because of wanting those that have arisen to abide. Because of fully grasping its means, that is, one strives because of fully grasping the means of those such as abandoning. Because of doing it many times and making it stable, that is, fully grasping its means, doing it many times and making it stable, for the sake of these two, that is, for the sake of doing it many times and making it stable, one initiates diligence. Among them, doing it many times is constantly doing it. Making it stable is being respectful. Because of meditating on the antidote to lethargy and agitation, that is, one makes the mind fully focused because of meditating on the antidote to lethargy. One applies it by saying that one makes the mind fully abide because of meditating on the antidote to agitation. Furthermore, because of wanting to abandon and so on, this is the same in meaning as the first explanation. Because of applying to those, that is, one strives because of applying to those such as abandoning. This other explanation is also the same in meaning as the previous explanation. Among them, the extensive explanation of diligence is that if one exerts diligence on those such as abandoning, causing the body and mind to be weary, when the body becomes weary and the mind becomes weary, one initiates diligence in order not to interrupt the continuity of diligence. Tranquility is the extensive explanation, that is, of tranquility.
