For walls, too, one goes directly through. For mountains, too, one goes directly through. For strongholds, too, one goes directly through, which means that it should be understood when dwelling in monasteries, mountains, and cities. For walls, too, one goes directly through, and going without being obstructed by the body is dwelling in a monastery. It is the same between dwelling in cities. For the cessation of the assembly of decay, one directs the mind to nirvana. One generates faith. One dwells completely. One becomes completely liberated, which is a section of the sutras. The assembly of decay refers to the five aggregates of clinging, and it should be understood in this way. To explain this in detail, because one is not afraid of that nirvana, one should know that one directs the mind. This is a synonym for engaging in it. Because joy manifests, one should know that one generates faith. Because of singleness, one should know that one dwells completely. Because one arises without attachment, one should know that one becomes completely liberated. The opposite is the reverse. How is it reversed? Because one is afraid of nirvana, one does not engage, and one should understand up to the point of not becoming completely liberated because one does not arise without attachment. In this way, the cause is shown. If, as in the first case, the meaning of the words "engages," etc., is shown as "not being afraid," etc., the meaning is not that way, and this is a synonym for what cannot be spoken. Hearing, etc., is also not the cause. Why? Just as it says in the sutra, "The venerable one, even with desire," etc., is explained in detail, "However, I do not direct my mind to all peaceful actions, and to focusing on emptiness, and to the exhaustion of craving, and to detachment, and to cessation, and to nirvana. I do not generate faith." It is said in this way. In this regard, the wisdom arising from hearing and the wisdom arising from thinking are also not absent. How does one know? Just as the venerable one, I, etc., is spoken in detail. Because that was spoken, it is indeed much hearing. Because of much hearing, it is the wisdom arising from hearing. The continuum completely

For the sake of maturation, both are present. Because without the wisdom born of hearing and the wisdom born of thinking, the continuum cannot be fully matured. Therefore, it is concluded with "Thus," and so on, extensively explained. It is because of the uninterrupted and uninterrupted wandering. Interrupted is a long period of interruption. Uninterrupted is a short period of interruption. "For the sake of that," and so on, is extensively explained, that is, for the sake of that, the mind turns back. Thus, the gross pride of thinking "I," is for the sake of uninterrupted and uninterrupted wandering. For the sake of that, the mind turns back from Nirvana. Mind is mind. The cause of complete aversion, that is, complete aversion, for those who are free from desire in the desire realm, a state of mental happiness arises, not mental unhappiness, because they have left the desire of that realm. The cause of complete aversion is based on, that is, the meaning of arising from that cause. How does the mind turn back? Thinking: Then what is my master now? Because of having no fear, etc., with the sound of "etc.," including manifesting joy, being single-minded, and arising without attachment. Monks, in this, in order to guard the eye faculty, in order to hide, in order to abide in taming, one has gone forth. It is the same up to the mind faculty, this is a section of the Sutra. How to proceed in order? Relying on mindfulness, one has gone forth in order to guard the eye faculty. Relying on samadhi, one has gone forth in order to hide. Relying on wisdom, one has gone forth in order to abide in taming. Taming is abiding in taming, like abiding in peace. Furthermore, extensively explained, for the object that the eye faculty is to enter, one has gone forth in order to guard that object, because it is blessed by mindfulness. For the object that the eye faculty should not enter, one has gone forth in order to hide, because it does not enter, that is, the eye faculty does not...
