The term "having..." is understood by this word. The word "each individual" should also be combined with "ground." That is, by the term "having each individual," because it exists in each individual, it is having each individual, that is, that. The ground of manifest realization is also indicated by the term "examining after examination." Not having the scripture of only that, the scripture of only that or existing only in that is the scripture of only that. Not having the scripture of only that is not having the scripture of only that. Thus, one word means extensive explanation; if explained separately in that way, then one word only indicates, that is, it is said to be a "thinker." Two words are explanation, that is, it is said to be "situated on the ground of entering examination and thought." The third word is indication, that is, it is said to be "situated on the ground of entering the thinker." The explanation of that is said to be three. What are the three? That is, it is said to be "having one's own courage," "having each individual," and "situated on the ground of examining after examination." Furthermore, "in previous lives" refers to extensive explanation; the ground of entering thought, that is, the mindstream accustomed to thought in previous lives and imbued with it, is indicated by the term "having courage." Regarding "separation from seeing only that," seeing only that is not seeing only that, that is, being separated from that. That ground refers to the mindstream, which is indicated by the term "having each individual." That ground refers to being mixed with thought from beginningless time, entering only from the absence of faculties, which is indicated by the term "situated on the ground conforming to examination." Furthermore, regarding "from the scriptures" refers to extensive explanation; the thinker, because it is the nature of that, should also be recognized; having the nature of thought is the thinker, which should be recognized by the term "examiner." For the sake of examining thought, it should also be recognized; for what has no object of thought, because it is thinking about what should not be examined, it is not.

No. That is also due to this (term) called being in the place of entering into investigation. Because of previous habituation, it should also be known as an investigator, due to the word called having one's own courage. Because it is not manifest, it should also be known as an investigator, due to the word called having individual ordinary beings. Not being manifest itself is also not manifesting that itself, and ordinary beings are also not manifesting that itself. Called not relying on scripture, not relying on scripture is not relying on scripture, because of its object, it should be known as an investigator, it should be known by the word called being in a place related to examination. Called diligence, appearing extensively, from because diligence is perfect investigation, to because of complete purification, is perfect investigation. Having that is an investigator, called having that is an investigator, is a synonym for the five types of perfect investigation. The five types of perfect investigation also correspond to the five words such as being called an examiner, etc., in order. Called in order to completely grasp the three types of valid reasoning, the three types of valid cognition are direct perception, inference, and scripture. The three types of valid cognition themselves are reasoning, therefore they are the three types of valid reasoning, because of completely grasping that. Called that is the place of ordinary beings, it means in which place there is complete grasping of the three types of valid reasoning. Monks, the death of a sentient being with mindfulness is not good, the end of life is not good, the next life is not good, called this is a section of the sutra. Called in order, appearing extensively, because of dying from mental decline, and because of dying from delusion, it should be known that death is not good. It should not be known that death is the moment of death itself. So what is it? It is certain to die. Such is the state of mental decline, etc. Because of dying and transmigrating without having done merit, therefore the end of life is not good.
