It is for the sake of manifestation. The reason for flowing like water is because it is not quickly separated. The reason for not being grasped by nature is because it is not something to be constantly guarded with mindfulness. Peace is because its opposing side, the afflictions of the lower grounds, are extremely subdued. Abundance is because it is not mixed with the afflictions of one's own nature. Obtaining a wide path is because it arises naturally from the cause of extreme familiarity. Realizing the mind stream as one is because it is unwavering. Therefore, that which is not constantly guarded with mindfulness should be understood through the causes of peace and so on. What is said here is a collection of the reverse white dharmas. In the extensive explanation of "quickly manifest" and so on, what is the meaning of not being accomplished by action and so on? "Quickly manifest" and so on, such meanings, are the causes stated in the verses. How so? Thus, it is not manifested by action, therefore it is quickly manifested. The word "etc." means, because of what it is not flowing like water, therefore it is also not quickly separated. Because of what it is not grasped by nature, therefore it is not constantly guarded with mindfulness. It is not not peaceful, why? Because its opposing side is destroyed. It is not not abundant, why is that? Because it is not mixed with the afflictions of one's own nature. It is obtaining a wide path, why is that? Because it arises effortlessly from extreme familiarity. It is a unified stream, why is that? Because it is unwavering. Furthermore, what is declared in verses is: "For the sake of quick manifestation." What is extensively explained is: "For the sake of quick manifestation. It is not grasped by action. For the sake of not degenerating, it is not flowing like water. For the sake of constant guarding, it is grasped by nature. For the sake of not being an affliction, it is peace. For the sake of being goodness, it is abundance. For the sake of natural arising, it is obtaining a wide path. For the sake of completeness, it is རྒྱ

It is the realization of becoming one, and the first to fourth dhyanas are completely perfect. Furthermore, it is the right practice and the pure one. Thus, the scriptures say that from not being grasped by the sequential application of mind to the realization of becoming one. Now, if one attains the state of equanimity of mind, complete purity, complete subduing, absence of afflictions, separation from near afflictions, uprightness, capability, abiding, and immovability, this is a section of the sutras. Thus, it is extensively explained that in this way, that samadhi is the very nature of virtue, completely revealed along with the characteristics of various names. The term "completely pure" is the very nature of virtue, and the term "completely subdued" is the characteristic of various names. How is it that it is the very nature of virtue, and also completely revealed along with the characteristics of various names? The terms "absence of afflictions" and "separation from near afflictions" are in sequence. Being controlled itself, along with the characteristics of various names, is also completely revealed. The terms "uprightness" and "capability" are in sequence. Being completely accomplished itself, along with the characteristics of various names, is also completely revealed. The terms "attaining abiding" and "immovability" are what they are. Among them, the complete purity of mind is explained with another word, such as the meaning of complete subduing. Sometimes two words are, extensively speaking, this is specifically established. For example, contentment of mind and comfort of mind are joy of mind and absence of obscuration of mind. Absence of obscuration of mind is comfort of mind. That is the mind being free from obscuration, and where it exists is the absence of obscuration of mind, which is that absence of obscuration of mind.
