That which arises from the cause of desire, and the disputes that arise from it, is a section of the Sutra Pitaka. In order, it is to be attached to desire. To accept willingly is to be particularly attached. To overwhelm is to be completely bound. Not being ashamed of it means not being ashamed of being overwhelmed by attachment to desire, which is to be completely attached. To be completely delighted in it is to be completely delighted by complete delight. To be completely delighted in the attachment to desire is to be completely delighted in it. Its essence is to be completely delighted in it, which is to be completely attached. The word "cause" should be applied to all words. How should it be applied? It should be expanded as: Because of the attachment to desire, kings fight with kings. Similarly, from "because of the attachment to desire, there is particular attachment" to "because of complete attachment," it should be inferred in the same way. To be very happy with one's own desires, to want to possess them completely and not want to be separated from them, that is, to be very happy with one's own desires, such as form and sound, to want to possess them completely and not want to be separated from them, is to be very happy with one's own desires, to want to possess them completely and not want to be separated from them. To make others very happy with their desires, and to be completely attached, is to make others very happy with various desires. Complete attachment is to make others very happy with their desires, and complete attachment are two. Attachment to desire, particular attachment, complete bondage, complete attachment, complete attachment, should be understood in order. How should it be understood? To be very happy with one's own desires is to be attached to desire. To want to possess one's own desires completely is to be particularly attached. To not want to be separated from one's own desires is to be completely bound. To make others very happy with their desires is to be completely attached, desire is completely attached. To be completely attached to the desires of others is to be completely attached itself. For "views" also, it should be expanded in this way. The "views" here refer to the five views, such as the view of the aggregates. For these also, it should be so, for the attachment to views.

Attachment and, especially clinging and, complete bondage, are just as they arise from the second category. How so? Manifestly rejoicing in one's own view and, completely grasping and desiring not to be separated, attachment to the view and, especially clinging and, complete bondage, in order. Those with dissimilar views are those who manifestly rejoice in their own view, and thus completely cling, thinking, "How can these become my views?" Those with similar views are those who are attached to their views, the views of those with similar views are their views. Being attached to his view is being attached to his view, it should be known as universal attachment. Here also, starting from what is called "the cause of attachment to views," each should be connected to "those who have gone forth because of the universal cause of attachment to views and argue among those who have gone forth." Alternatively, attachment to views and, especially clinging and, complete bondage, are just as they arise from the first category, universally practicing and, accepting and, subduing, in order. As previously stated, there are eight necessities, and the categories are spoken of because of the difference in taming, because in that life and the next, some people can comprehend from some others, and so on. Monks, those sentient beings have no benefit practice, no Dharma practice, no merit practice, no virtue practice, no auspicious practice, this is a section of the Sutra. The term "relying on both of those" is synonymous with "relying on benefit and Dharma practice." Performing meritorious deeds is performing meritorious deeds. The action of "performing unwavering actions" is the unwavering action performed in the form and formless realms. The one who does that is the doer. Practicing virtue, because of abandoning non-virtue, is like this, he has abandoned non-virtue. How has he abandoned non-virtue? Because it is the antidote. The term "certainly excellent" appears extensively, that is, for the sake of certainly excellent, cultivating the thirty-seven factors in harmony with the path to enlightenment is excellent.
