When the fruit is accomplished, the state where the fruit has already been produced is called the accomplishment of manifestation. The so-called "how to combine appropriately" refers to the way of combining like this. How to combine? Some are the accomplishment on the seed, some are the accomplishment on the mastery, and some are the accomplishment on the manifestation. Among them, starting from the first moment of non-accomplishment to accomplishment, until the second and third moments below, between the accomplishment of the place of mastery, it is called the seed, which refers to the two accomplishments connected with mastery and attainment. For mastery and manifestation, it is only connected, and it cannot be said that the seed is accomplished and attained. Alternatively, seed accomplishment refers to the accomplishment of the seeds of pure, impure, and unrecordable dharmas on the mind stream for beings who have not separated from the desire realm's attachment. The so-called mastery accomplishment refers to the fact that beings who have separated from the desire realm's attachment have the ability to manifest the samadhi and supernormal powers they practice whenever they want to manifest them, which is called mastery accomplishment. From the eye faculty to the body faculty, the five faculties each manifest their respective objects, which is called the accomplishment of manifestation. The so-called "how to combine appropriately" refers to combining like this: the seed is combined with accomplishment, the mastery is combined with attainment, and the manifestation is combined with connection. In order to show the nature of non-perception, the question is asked: What is non-perception samadhi? The definition of non-perception is that entering into non-perception samadhi or non-perception is the result of ripening from being born among the gods of non-perception. In order to obtain the result of ripening, non-perception, entering into samadhi is called non-perception samadhi. What is its nature and definition? This is the meaning of the question. As an answer, it mentions being free from the desire for good increase and not being of the upper realm, etc. Among them, the places of the desire realm are twenty, namely, below Jambudvipa (Earth) there are eight hot hells, the four continents, the six heavens of the desire realm, animals, and hungry ghosts.

English

The eight hot hells are Avīci, Atapana, Tapana, Mahāraurava, Raurava, Sanghata, Kālasūtra, and Saṃjīva. The four continents are Jambudvīpa in the south, Godānīya in the west, Uttarakuru in the north, and Pūrvavideha in the east. The six desire realm heavens are the Four Great Kings, the Thirty-three, Yama, Tuṣita, Nirmāṇarati, and Paranirmita-vaśavartin. In the form realm, the first dhyāna has three abodes: Brahma-pāriṣadya, Brahma-purohita, and Mahābrahmā. The second dhyāna has three abodes: Parīttābha, Apramāṇābha, and Ābhāsvara. The third dhyāna has three abodes: Parīttaśubha, Apramāṇaśubha, and Śubhakṛtsna. The fourth dhyāna has eight abodes: Anabhraka, Puṇyaprasava, Bṛhatphala, Avṛha, Atapa, Sudṛśa, Sudarśana, and Akaniṣṭha. In the formless realm, there are four spheres: Ākāśānantyāyatana, Vijñānānantyāyatana, Ākiñcanyāyatana, and Naivasaṃjñānāsaṃjñāyatana. Among them, the so-called detachment from desire in Śubhakṛtsna, the third dhyāna has three abodes: Parīttaśubha, Apramāṇaśubha, and Śubhakṛtsna. Detachment from desire in Śubhakṛtsna means abandoning all desires below the third dhyāna. The so-called "not above" means that above the third dhyāna are the fourth dhyāna and the formless realm, which in reality means that the desires of the fourth dhyāna and the formless samāpatti have not yet been abandoned. What is the initial thought of the non-perceptual samāpatti, or with what thought does one enter samāpatti? Therefore, it is said, "with the mind that precedes the arising of perception," meaning that one who wishes to enter the non-perceptual samādhi must first refute perception at the time of entering samāpatti, thinking that this perception is a thorn, this perception is a disease, this perception is a boil, perception.
