It is reasonable to consider these two as separate aggregates. Apart from feeling and perception, contact and attention, etc., are called the aggregate of formations. If that were the case, it would contradict the scriptures, because the Blessed One said that the formations of the six consciousnesses are from the consciousness arising from contact gathered by the eye faculty to the consciousness arising from contact gathered by the mind faculty. There, the Blessed One mainly said that mind is formation, because mind manifestly forms, so it is called main. As it is said, one also gives up the mind for virtue, and so on. Therefore, contact and so on should also be included in the aggregate of formations. In the world, it is also common to see the main one being shown. For example, when it is said that the king has passed away, it is not only the king who comes, but also the elephants, horses, and chariots that are inseparable from him, and there is no fault. So, what are the phenomena that arise from the mind? They are the phenomena that are in accordance with the mind. Why are they in accordance? Because they are in accordance with the corresponding types, that is, in accordance with place, object, aspect, time, and substance. Because they abide in the faculty. Because they grasp the object. Because they grasp the aspect of the object itself, that is, the expression of aspects such as blue. Because they arise simultaneously together. Substance is in accordance because everything is an individual substance, because those causes are in accordance. Mind is not in accordance with another mind, because they do not meet. These are from contact to discernment. Among them, five are pervasive, five are object-specific, eleven are virtuous, six are afflictive, the rest are near afflictions, and four are variable. Among them, the five pervasive ones are feeling, perception, intention, contact, and attention, and these arise in all minds, virtuous, non-virtuous, and neutral. Among them, the virtuous mind is in accordance with faith and so on. The non-virtuous mind is

It is similar to desire and so on, and possesses them. That which is neither of the two is unstated. The five that are definite for each object are desire, conviction, mindfulness, samadhi, and wisdom. Wherever conviction arises, desire, mindfulness, samadhi, and wisdom will undoubtedly arise as well. Because they cannot arise without each other, they are called definite for each object. The eleven virtuous qualities are from faith to non-harming. The six afflictions are the nature of desire, anger, pride, ignorance, views, and doubt. The near afflictions are from anger to non-vigilance. It is said that the four also change into others, from regret to investigation. What does "other" mean? It is said that these four are not only near afflictions, but what are they? They also arise in virtuous, non-virtuous, and unstated states. This is a summary of mental factors, and in summary, there are fifty-one. Among them, contact and so on are shown by nature and function. What is the nature? What is contact? It is the complete separation of the aggregation of the three. The so-called three are the eye, form, and consciousness. When these are aggregated, the mental phenomena that arise are contact and so on, which completely separate the transformation of the senses. It is the function of being the basis of feeling. After consciousness arises, the transformation of the senses that is in accordance with feelings such as pleasure should be known as contact. What is attention? It is the entry of the mind. Entering with effort, initiating the mind and mental factors, and thinking without remainder is attention. It is the function of the mind holding the object. What is thought? The mind's manifest action towards qualities, faults, and things that are neither is the function of the mind. If it exists, consciousness will be directed towards the object, just as the action of a magnet moves iron. Abandoning the mind towards virtuous, non-virtuous, and unstated things is a display of function. Just like this, how to manifestly act, towards virtuous and other dharmas
